Talking My GL 320CDI on approach

My salesman called today to tell that my GL would be in 'today'. Well, in fact, it did arrive. I stopped by on the way home to check it out. Nothing had been done to it, as expected, but I did get to do a walk around and drive it from the backlot to the garage where it will be PDI'd tomorrow. I won't take delivery until Monday or Tuesday as I'm heading to Detroit for the car show tomorrow. It looked great.

Congratulations Jack! We will want to see some pics upon your return from Detroit. Enjoy the show!

Please let us know how you like the GL CDI. I'm currently weighing my choices btwn the R320/GL320CDI.
How did you do with the GL purchase price if you don't mind me asking. Please PM if you feel more comfortable.
TIA!
Jay

It's gotta be tough knowing it's right there and you just went around and inside of it, but you still have to wait a few more days to officially have it.

Congrats. I know the feeling. Mine (E) came in on Thursday and I didn't get it until the following Tuesday.

Took delivery of my GL320CDI tonight. Smooth deal as usual with my dealer. First impressions are great but I'm going to get a few miles on the road and then report back in a few days. Lots of new stuff to learn that isn't on our ML. Distronic, voice control, KG, etc.

Q & R
Better than 1%

Here in Houston, the best deal on the GL diesel is 1% off the MSRP. Anyone do better?

Contact Greg Weiler at Westminster MB (a Sponsor on this forum) and see what he can do for you. His # is 303-410-7820. They are located in Denver, CO.

I don't know what he can offer you but give it a try. I bought my S there and ordered my GL also because of the pricing and excellent service.

Keep negotiating. I called around and emailed several different dealers both in state and out of state. In the end my local dealer matched the best price.

You might try looking at dealers in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth. FYI, I got the best price from Fort Worth... MSRP - 2.8%
