I thought I wanted the Capri Blue (see previous thread) and it's still a very nice color but a little too dark for me. I think I'll be ordering the red. Saw a red ML at the dealership and it is very nice.
Still working on interior color though. Thought I wanted ash, but I've seen some comments about hard to keep clean around here. Maybe mac? Black is out of the question--too hot here and dog hair (boxers) shows up too much on it.

Anyone seen any 550s with this color? Is this Barolo Red? Looks very bright compared to rsevinor's.

The barolo red ML I saw at the dealer looks quite different from MB's website. Darker and more burgundy. The website shows them lighter and a bit more "rust" colored IMO.

I've seen 1 Barolo Red 450. It is a darker red, almost a burgandy. Beautiful color! It was my first choice, but couldn't find one off the lot that had the few options I wanted, so I went with the Capri Blue.

I think the GL550 would look amazing in something like Firemist Red (closer to the red on MBUSA).
Firemist:

Okay, enough wishing for now.

Black may be your best solution to hide hair, dirt, etc.

Keep in mind, no matter what color interior you get, the dirt will still be there. It will just be a matter of how much it shows up!

Exactly! I'm trying to pick the interior color that hides dirt/hair etc the best. I've had several black interiors before and IMO black shows everything...just like on the outside.

Just for fun, this same color is called "Carneol Red" in the UK.
For my color, I actually prefer Travertine Beige over Desert Silver.
Probably those with Verde Brook wouldn't like Peridot Brown.

Here are some samples of barolo red. It is different and unique and a break from traditional silver or black, which I have/had in the past.

Really like the color. I've never had the oppotunity to see one live on the road, or in a dealer's lot. Looks great and the house is beautiful too!
