Best way to protect backs of front seats?
Just got a new GL450 and we love it. We do have two kids (age 6 and 3) and would like to protect the backs of the front seats from their grimey, dirty shoes that they can't seem to keep to themselves. Any recommendations? Don't want a full seat cover that covers the passenger part, just something for the back. I'm hoping there's a convenient, plastic film that adheres nicely to it.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

I've had these in my last 2 vehicles. Not cheap.

It's not a site you might look for but this covers the back of the front seats and the carpeting. It's not plastic but it is washable.

In my experience, shoes taken off and left within reach, tend to turn into missiles at the most inopportune time such as when you are talking to an officer.

Of course, if the shoe hits the cop, that's different.

birth control is a good start.. (jk).
I have a 5 year old and he kicks the rear seat sometimes, but not intentionally. Its a truck what can you do? If you leave it in a plastic bag, it wont get dirty.
Or a smack on the butt everytime they kick the back... lol... it cleans up well, that plastic is tough.

I to have a 3 and 6 year old. On previous cars have found that wiping down the back of the seats after an "encounter" with the bottom of my children's feet usually does the trick. Will try this out on my GL before resorting to other alternatives. Granted the macadamia interior makes it a bit more challenging than black. Will see how it goes after our first ski trip in th eGL.
