I like VVS078 with Black Lip. I ordered a GL350 a week ago due to arrive in December. What would be the wheel/tire size options for this wheel? (20-22)

I would do 22", I feel like the GL should come from the factory with 22's considering the tire sizes you can run with a 22" wheel.

In most cases we do the Vossen 10.5" width wheel all around with a 305/40/22 tire.

Thanks, I'll be in touch. Would the 305/40/22 tire be the tallest sidewall I could run on these?
I know the ultimate idea for performance, is to have the lowest profile tire. I'm hoping to get a little taller tire to provide some curb protection and ride comfort. I live in Honolulu where the roads are TERRIBLE. Potholes and uneven pavement conditions exist in about 40% of my driving routine.

Forgot to mention that my wife has a knack for "cutting corners" and hopping curbs. You know what that can do to rims....

That is too funny, the GL above has the tire sizes I mentioned. Not too shabby I'd say, that would need to be a pretty tall curb to reach the rim.

How much does a 22/10 wheel weight? Do you do wheel tire package? What is themost durable tire in this size out there bcuse ilive in NYC plus the wifey takes the car from time to time so a lip protecting tire would be nice... Are those wheels made to order or they are in stock?

Not positive on wheel weight so vossen will have to chime in on that. I think in NYC you should be fine, I am on even smaller size tires and I am okay. The tires I'd suggest is the yokohama prada spec-x.

hubert, the 22x10 is 33lbs each... for the CV1...thats pretty low for such a big wheel on a heavy vehicle.

Where are you in NY? If its not too far i would just drop my car off with you guys and you can take care of the mounting balance and possible sensor swap. Could you pm to me the price of wheels tires and we take it from there. I assume you would have to order those wheels from Vossen how long would be the wait. I can call and leave you a deposit over the phone so you can place them on order.
