Picked up a 2012 GL450 - opinions on these 22" AMG wheels?
I just picked up a 2012 GL450 and can't decide on which set up I want to go with. I really like the GL550 AMG Wheels that come in a 21, but can't find anyone who makes them in 22's. I found these and did a hack job on Photoshop to see what they would look like. So what do you think? Only thing is I think they may be a little "dated" since they are form the older AMG's. I'm going for the Mercedes style and not too aftermarket approach

I'd stick with the OEMs if you want that style. I'm never a fan of the knockoff rims. Especially in the 22" flavor, you can tell they're knockoffs.

Right but he was asking for opinions on the 22" AMG. My opinion is to skip them and step down to 21 or do 22s in some aftermarket flavor but not an OEM styled knockoff.

OEM never came in 22s. Those wheels look like a mislabeled 21" prefacelift GL wheel. It's possible he's mistaken because when you physically measure a wheel's diameter from edge to edge it's larger than the tire diameter. However, all the wheel's information should be hard printed onto the back of a spoke. So if the seller looks at that, it should have definitive information of the rim.
