Drive Assist has missing blind spot feature
I bought a 2013 GL450 recently from a private seller. Seller said it has Drive Assist package and showed me how blind spot feature works while i was test driving.
Now i noticed the blind spot feature is missing. Also, radar system does not show up in Setting--> Vehicle.
Could someone explain what could have happened?
I texted the seller several times asking this question, but no response!
Is this Drive Assist package standard in GL450?

Hey Guys,
Any option for this should be configured in the instrument cluster.
This video should help clear it up.
"Driveassist" also includes the drowsy sensor etc and is standard.
The drivers assistance package with active blindspot, lanechange and distronic is optional. Actually anything on a mercedes is usually optional........
Cheers

Curious to learn how this issue may have been resolved. Also purchased pre-owned - Blind spot mirror lights worked well on test drive and disappeared after resetting to get rid of previous owners stuff. Now Blind Spot Assist does not even register on the menu options.

There’s another thread on making this turnoffable, and the working direction is to use MBstar with developer mode. It’s possible to turn off TPMS and secondary air injection and a host of other functions using the system.
if it turns out that this is accessible through maintenance mode in the info display that would be even easier.
what probably happened to you guys is that you had a sensor fault and the system tripped offline.
other poster wants to fix the system sensors in order to deselect it. That does not check with the information given in this thread.
have you had a low battery voltage condition lately?
