MBCA Discount Change
I received an email that as of 4/1/2013, they are decreasing the discount from $ 1000 to $ 500 and that one cannot combine this discount with any Fleet Discount. What a shame...
Announcement came 9 days before the change in discount program!

Yeah.....I got it too.....fortunately, I got mine in before the change and got the 1k from MBCA and 3k from USAA . Unfortunate, but honestly don't know of any other car club that gets you any discount on a new purchase......I know I was amazed at the 1K.

I got my $1000 discount also on March 25. Very nice little surprise. I agree, don't know of any other car club that'll save you that amount of money.

I use fleet discount and if I can't combine MBCA with Fleet - MB Club lost me as a member. I don't need their magazine for $45 per year.

I like the magazine and if it saves me $955 on the price if a car, all the better. Did you sign up to read the magazine or to just save $955? If you liked the magazine before why not now?

Read the first post. It's not $955 anymore. I don't see anything special in that magazine for $45 a year.

I did see that they are lowering the discount to $500 as of April 1 but what's wrong with getting a $500 discount to read a magazine that does have some nice articles? If you're buying a MB I really don't think $45 a year will break you. Just saying.

I don't think many MBCA members take advantage of this and as a result, the service advisers don't know about it. When I first mentioned it a couple years ago, my adviser had to "go check" if they participated and sure enough, they did.
