Warranty options after ELW expires

What are the best options for warranty coverage after ELW or Extended CPO expires based on time or miles?

2013 GL350

I’d be interested in feedback as well. I am good with an ELW for another year but am planning on keeping vehicle. I am assuming 3rd party is only option. I have Endurance on another vehicle, but have not had to use it, so do not have any experience on how well it is/isn’t.

Based on research ... after the ELW, 3rd party is the only option available ... I'm about to buy my 2 year ELW after the expiration of my CPO ... but looking to keep car beyond 2 year ... any experience or insights would be appreciated.

I'm in a similar boat, the factory warranty is due to expire. Not sure what deals are available for extended warranty.

I have my eye on a 2013 GL550 that is CPO for one year and they offered my two more years MB bumper to bumper for $3,495. I have no idea if that is a good price or not.

Do a search on this forum. Loads of info on ELW pricing and who has the best. Off the cuff, that does sound like a good price especially since the MY is a ‘13 and it’s an MB ELW. My ELW runs out next year and I believe my only option is a 3rd party warranty. You will be good for 3 years.

I'm selling my GL550 when CPO expires in 2020. After over $20k in warranty repairs during my 18 months of ownership, and as much as I love the car, I don't need a gamble. Will look for a CPO GLS550 at that point.

UPDATE: just bought my 2 year ELW ... went the safe route with ELW instead of 3rd Party ... will probably sell car or eat the cost if I decide to keep car after that ... got mine through

Jeff does give out great prices, local dealer wanted $1k more for the same warranty coverage. I'll pull the trigger In the next coming months (Have about 5k miles left).
