On my 2014 my divers cushion has some sort of plastic bladder that looks to be bulging front the stretch fabric portion in the front the passenger does no seem to have this imperfection. Also feels flat drivers vs rounded passenger on the front edge. Is this normal?

Does the massage function work? I would try using the search feature, this seems to come up from time to time.

yeah not sure if it’s for massage? my operates in the lumbar areas. I found a post where it might be a feature. An inflatable bladder to extend the knee area? I’m not really sure how to activate it unless it’s part of the massage. Only seems to be on the drivers side. I hate how the plastic feels over the stretchy fabric. I just want to make sure it’s in the correct location and has not shifted etc. if this is normal I’ll let it be, but now curious about the feature.

Follow up.

Learned something new. But what a pointless feature. I’ll take a BMW knee extender or Jaguar which slides the whole lower cushion in relationship to the back. This MB version does not do much, other than making the seat fabric look like it has a deformity. I hate the flatness it leaves on the top edge and any extension is hardy noticeable on the legs.

Sorry can't be of more help. The owner's manual (MBUSA site) doesn't give much information, neither do YouTube videos. I would experiment with all aspects of the seat controls.

I’ve got the same options and my seat looks/feels the same. I don’t mind it too much though.
