Glb250 2021 wheels howling
Since couple days i start hearing strange howling on my glb250, went your turning almost on full left or right turn on the wheel’s…
is sound like howling calliper metal something what was That! Sound
my glb 2021 just bought on Last Christmas now she had 21 inch wheels 235/45r20 x9 aftermarket set.
anyone know what is that strange sound come from? I link the video on youtube

It’s hard to hear. Lots of background noises, like driving in the tunnel.

Is the sound always there or when you turn?

Is it possible you installed tires that are too big and are rubbing on something when you turn? Tire Rack shows 245/40-21 as max size and you have 245/45-21.

No , went i try to park went turning the wheel in slow turn 5-10 km Or like in full turn .
i dont know yet it is does went driving in the street like 50km h ,

in the first video you can hear howling just at the beginning of video . You put little volume on it to hear clearly.

It sounds like tire rubbing against something, perhaps a wheel well.

yes but i didn’t hear at the first time , i change tires about a month ago is started to hear this sound a couple days (3-4 )and i dont drive a lot with this car like 2-3 time week since changing summer tires.

If you still have the original set, put it on and see if you can replicate the sound. If not than the issue is with new set.

I am not a tire expert but you might have an issue with the wheels.

According to the link below 235/45R20 should be 20x8 not 9. Not sure what the difference is.

This is one of the reasons I only use stock rims. You've now spend God knows how much money and the car drives worse than it did from the factory.

Look at the inside of the tire after you have done your full turn left & right while moving and see if there are any rub marks on the tire.

i check look everything normal ,

and under where the wheel turn .and try in park turn full left and right couple time didn’t hear any noise is normal.maybe is the steering wheel noise why running?
