I had acoustic glass fitted by the dealer last week. Both front windows were replaced.
The difference is very noticeable, especially in strong cross winds.

Very very slow
I consider my GLC43 is fairly well equipped.
It has premium, premium plus, heated steering wheel, carbon fibre console, rear heated seats, rear sunscreen, lighting package, 360 cameras, Burmester sounds, leather seats and acoustic glass.
(That's all I can I remember for now). LOL

Glass with a special layer in it for sound. My GLC has it. Did not do anything special to get it. My car is a 2016 that is the equivalent to a 17 P3 with park assist/leather/pano/burmester and 19 inch wheels.

Mine is 2017 model with P1 package only. Windshield is acoustic glass and front door windows are not.
Recently got a rock chip on my windhshield, and thinking about replacing it. Am I going to be able to replace it with Acoustic glass as well?

Make sure the shop understands your vehicle has an acoustic windshield and you want an identical replacement.
Seems strange that your front door windows are not acoustic but the windshield is. I would think they go together.

First post I've seen reporting an acoustic windshield.
Make sure the shop understands your vehicle has an acoustic windshield and you want an identical replacement.
Seems strange that your front door windows are not acoustic but the windshield is. I would think they go together.

Lack supporting data, but seems logical to me if the vehicle has an acoustic windshield it would also have acoustic driver/passenger glass.
If my vehicle were configured otherwise, a discussion would be in order with dealer personnel.

I sent an email to my dealer, Walter's Mercedes-Benz, in Riverside, CA on January 26, advising them of wind noise in my GLC300, and providing the service bulletin ID. They called today, saying that the parts were in (new door glass for both front doors, along with some seals), and scheduled an appointment for installation on February 2. I already have the acoustic glass windshield. What great service!
I loaded a decibel meter app on my iPhone, so I'll check the sound level before and after.

I picked up my car this morning after the work called for in the service bulletin was done, which was to replace both front door windows with acoustic glass. I checked the sound level in the car before and after the work using a decibel meter downloaded to my iPhone. Here is what I recorded. All levels are one minute averages.
Idling in driveway, AC off: Before 48 Db, After 42 Db
Freeway speed, smooth asphalt: Before 78 Db, After 75 Db
Freeway speed, rough concrete: Before 83 Db, After 80 Db
The old front door glass measured 5 mm thickness, new is 3.9 mm.
