hello .
I have this cracking noises from the center dashboard are make me crazy it get worst in high temperatures I can hear the noises even with not driving a small metal sound from the screen and the metal behind it any suggestions.

Take it to the dealership?

Might be something in the HVAC system if you're hearing it when not driving but regardless, it's under warranty, let them have a look.

sorry I forgot to add the the noises increase with bumpy roads and road holes it's like the metal expand and some times its come from instruments panel when driving in bump road

you might have the strut issue a lot of us have. See the thread "noise from dash" for more detail. Take it to the dealer, Mercedes seem to be aware of this issue.

Had the same problem, took it to the dealership and was covered under warranty...Here's the explanation from the invoice, it is a known problem at MB and there is a bulletin issued from corporate:

1332 THE EXAPANSION OF THE FRONT STRUT STOP BUFFER ALLOWS THE BOOT

TO COME IN CONTACT WITH CASING OF THE HEAD BEARING MAKING NOISE CK AND

ROAD TESTED-- 1332-1336- AND CONFIRMED WITH LI32.25-P-063651 NOISE

RECORDING . CHECK AND RAISED VEHICLE ON LIFT - PERFORMED LI AND APPLIED

GREASE IN THE SPECIFIED AREAS OF THE BOTH FRONT STRUTS . AREA SURFACE

BETWEEN SPRING AND THE SPRING CUP SUPPORT, ARE SURFACE BETWEEN THE DUST

BOOT AND THE STRUT TOWER, GREASED SHOCK ABSORBER PISTON AND STOP

BUFFER. RD TESTED 1336-1340-- NO MORE NOISE

Are the GLC's with this problem equipped with the air suspension or the regular suspension? Or, perhaps both?

I’m convinced I have this issue on my 2022 GLC. I’ve had it at the dealer so many times over the 11 months of ownership but they keep wanting to pull the dash instead of looking at this. Can someone provide the bulletin or any additional (specific) instructions? I’m thinking about checking it myself. The car came with no windshield fluid so who knows what else may have been missed!

Your dealer sounds like a real winner I would like to have my car serviced at.

Find another dealer, one who knows what they are doing (which is a challenge on its own, as I don’t think any of them do anymore, or simply do not care).

I am glad I have no more cars in warranty, as my Indy is knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest. The dealer sees me if I HAVE TO go there for a recall to be addressed, otherwise I stay away as far as I can!!!!!
