Wow your price on 40k prepaid maintenance seems incredible (retail is 1750 I think) What dealer did you go thru? I was quoted 1250 for 40/50/60k services (3 servvices although they involve more services than 10-30)

I'd like to read official MB documentation on what the pre-paid maintenance covers as well as the extended warranty. I can't find in on mbusa.com. Does anyone know where this can be found?

If you ask your SA he will be able to printout what is covered. It shows all the maintenance and mileage intervals. He can then hi-light what is covered. I believe that there is a brochure on extended warranty and I think the Credit guy has that if the salesman doesn't.

On the Extended Warranty Refund Guy - from the time the correct Mileage statement is submitted to Mercedes for warranty cancellation - I would say "normal" processing time to receive refund is 6 weeks - most of that is Mercedes time to refund to the dealer - dealer cuts a check to you if warranty was paid in full - cuts check to lender if warranty was financed with the car - and that there is a blance outstanding with the lender for the car..
The similar question is Original US warranty covers Canada?

PPM Best Price for Boston/New England (or Beyond)
Hello Great thread Contributors.
Seeking updated info. What's the Best price anyone's received for PPM within Boston/New England market? or beyond (assuming it can be used in MA).
HerbChambers/Flagship, Prime, & Burlington are this area's dealers (some are in many states) - lmk if you've any inside scoop, competitive sale/servicepeople names, are quotas/end of month timings a factor?)
Thanks in advance for any guidance provided.

Hi William, thnx! Super idea - I'd definitely do that if purchasing but ... my 2016 GLC300's ready for 1st Service B (2nd anniversary of purchase likely issued "warning" cuz only 14,000 miles).
Seeking current pricing as prep. Anyone know whether $1,400 is good for NewEngland market?
Thanks much!

Thanks everyone! I also got the 7/75 ELW from Jeff Jackson. Paid $1,700. Good guy, super helpful, responsive, easy transaction.

FWIW, some members are interested in buying PPM and EW out of state for the sales tax savings as well as hopefully getting a better price. Just talked to Jeff Jackson and as of 7/1/18 Kentucky requires 6% sales tax to be collected on PPM plans. I didn’t ask about an EW as I’m only a year in right now.
4yr PPM was $1,335 Plus tax or $1415

My local dealer matched the prices I found in this thread and did not charge sales tax (in California). Their original "best and final" price quote was hundreds of dollars higher.

Has anyone priced an extended warranty (EW) for a GLC AMG 63? PPM?
My dealer offered an EW of 7yr/75k for $7,000, which just sounded ridiculous. But this is my first AMG, so I honestly have no idea.

Worked with Jeff Jackson for pre-paid maintenance package. Very professional, quick and super easy transaction. The best option was 4 year prepaid for $1400, which we purchased.

Reviving an old thread... we are considering buying our 2016 GLC at the end of our 3-year lease in May. I prepaid for the first 3 A-B-A maintenance. Does anyone know of any reasonable options to consider for additional prepaid maintenance or extended warranty at this stage of the game?

Recommendation on dealer?
Hi all,
I am looking for recommendations on dealers for 7 yrs/75k ELW with their contact information. I called Jeff of the Kentucky dealer this morning for a 7 yrs/75k ELW on my new GLC 300 4Matic and he quoted me with +$3000, which is much more than what I saw on this forum.
Appreciate for your generosity!
George

Hello everyone! I am following this thread and it's giving me a lot of great information.
I have a 2019 GLC300 and is looking for PPM now.
I contacted Jeff and the price he gave me is:2 services $970
3 services $1280
4 services $1760
Some previous people said they got ~1300 for 4 service. Don't know why it's much more expensive now.
Does anyone know some other dealers can give the lower price?
Thanks!

@& The only extended warranty that I’m glad I paid for , was the Tire and Wheel wow pod for itself 4x over. Had about 5 tires replaced and 3x rim fixed for free.
Ooverall, MB is not worth it. The quality is not there , reliability isn’t there either, poor execution and craftsmanship. We have GLC and GLE. Next time we are buying either a Toyota Highlander or Hyundai Telluride. Save you money folks ! Buy a cheaper reliable car and invest the rest in the S&P500. It’s cost us thousands to operate and maintain this MB car and will cost us a lot more to continue maintain
g it after 5 years. Total money drain. I would agree for laying a lot of money for something extraordinary but this is not the case with MB you are buying for the brand the most and options that every other Hyundai , Kia and Toyota has. It’s sad that MB Selma cars for so much money that are not reliable, not known for quality and terrible resale value. Stay away from it. It’s a money pit. If you want quality, reliability and resale value- go for the Japanese brands - also Korean are doing very well. If you want to flush your hard earned money down the toilet, buy MB,BMW.

To be helpful - buy the 3-pack for $1280 - and cover's everything you have mentioned (except brakes) coming up 50K/60K/70K - so with plugs & tranny service covered you're ahead of the game.
You can have any reputable brake/tire do the brakes - at 40K+ fresh brakes are to be expected - aren't they ?
Wheels and tires - they're on you (or a added policy) regardless of brand...
Hope everything works out for you..

2020 GLC300 (ED re-delivery pending)
03-11-2019
I wish I had researched this thread before going in today to pay for our Euro Delivery GLC-300-4matic
Above PPM prices from Jeff in KY are the MRSP prices on build site: https://www.mbusa.com/en/vehicles/bu...tegory=service
So, seems like discounts are gone...
At my dealer (DFW area) I was quoted the following (going from memory as I ended up declining / deferring the decision)
4yr PPM ~$2650
7yr/75K ELW ~$3650
The finance guy tried to tell me the spark plug service was part of the 4th service and was $1400 by itself.
In checking that claim out, I found the brochure that clearly shows spark plugs in the 5th yer - https://www.mbusa.com/content/dam/mb...%2009.2018.pdf
At that point I decided to defer on buying and do some research.
Going on the PPM steps:
The first 2 A+B cost $970, but last A+B pair costs "only" $790
From 2y - 3y costs $310 extra and adds A service
From 3y - 4y costs $480 extra and adds B service

@pcbrew Yea! It seems that there may be no discount for PPM. I've talked with several dealers these days and the lowest they will go is 4 yr $1760.
Really jealous about the good deal that previous thread said.
Also, Jeff told me if I want to do 3-pack of B-A-B and do out-of-pocket for A, then this 3-pack service price goes up to $1750. Which means this process that many people recommended before is no longer useful?
I am still wondering if anyone just did maintenance through local body shop?
