Buying the 2018 GLC300 before it is released.

Are you getting a better deal buying it now than sometime in 2018

Well... where are you located ?

2018 GLC300's here in the US have been at dealers/available for a bit over 30- days - where are you emailing from ?

Here in the US model years launch early Fall for the next model year - in certain countries/markets - new model year launches in January of that new year.

Again - where are you emailing from ?

Why would you get a better deal now? In general, the vehicle is most likely to be discounted later in the model year, as the desire to lower stock levels and prepare for next year is greater. There is higher demand when a brand new model first comes out, so normally the deals aren't as good.

That's what I thought... but when I saw so much people doing special orders I wondered if it was LESS.

Typical nonsense thinking..

The ability to buy a 2018 - a full calendar quarter before New Year - more than offsets the "later higher discount".....

Sure you pay a bit more - like that's bad to enjoy a new car for 5-6-7 months earlier... gee's ..

I was gonna come back to add that part.

It's definitely advantageous to have the car a full year before it's 1 year old. You do get to have a "new" car for longer. If you drive a lot and plan to bail in a short time, you can end up with a 2 year old car with 50k miles on it, which can sorely impact trade in values.

I do agree though, buy the new car, and enjoy it. I've almost always done that with my new car purchases.

I've seen some post where buyer's put no money down on their lease and still get the car on the 400's. How are they doing it? When I look on the MB Usa site, I see 4800 down or near and 459 per month.

You should read this if you're thinking about leasing and have a little extra cash sitting around. Multiple Security Deposits seem to be a good deal if you can swing it money wise.

I've never done this as I tend to purchase rather than lease.

Maybe someone can chime in on whether MB still accepts MSD's.
