The car in question is well optioned. P2 package, Burmester, LED headlamps, Blind spot assist. Sticker was $49,845 when it was delivered in June (I found a cached listing). It never sold, has 3300 miles on it and they are asking $44,999 for it.
Just a comment, most of the loaners here are basically the base model. If your happy without any of the upgrades then you may be happy.
May be generally true but there are exceptions. Shop around, you might be able to come close to what you really want. Mine came with P2 package, leather, Advanced Parking Assistance, and other goodies, plus what I really wanted, which was the Head Up Display. It was the only one the dealer had with HUD, and it was a loaner!
I got it for 10% off list with less than 4K miles on the clock, plus what turned out to be a very generous trade-in on my BMW. OK, with some smart haggling you can do that well on a new one, and probably much better on a loaner this late in the season, but the real beauty of the loaners is the CPO warranty: 5 years unlimited miles from the time the car was first put into service, and you can buy 2 more for a total of 7 years, unlimited miles. The perfect deal for someone who drives a lot of miles and intends to keep the car for a long time, like me.
What compromise did I have to make? It's black. I hate black. I told the dealer I'd take any color but black. Now I am learning to love black.
I purchased a '17 loaner with 9k miles about 3 weeks ago and paid about $10k less than the $46k sticker. I had it shipped from MB dealer in LA and absolutely LOVE IT. Doesn't have a lot of the interior bells and whistles (P1, Blind spot indicators, Heated seats) but does have everything I wanted on the exterior - Sport Package, 20" AMG Wheels, Night Package. I did purchase the Garmin Nav card online for $118 and that's a nice addition to the interior.
Just my opinion, but I'd shoot for 12-18% off a "used" car like the one you are looking at purchasing. They are offering a loaner vehicle for less than 10% off their MSRP and you can get that on a new GLC. Figure out what number you are comfortable with and send it to them and tell them you will buy today if they hit your number. Good luck!

Our 2017 GLC 300 was a service loaner with 3500 miles on it. We got 10% off and they gave me a set of all season mats. Could we have done better? Maybe, but we were happy with the price and had waited almost a month for it to be released from the loaner program. Ours is Selenite Gray RWD with pano sunroof and premium package P01. I love it btw! I too bought a Garmin nav card online and it works perfectly.

It's a CPO with the unlimited miles warranty, as noted. My only concern with this is the break-in mileage. MB says to do the first 1,000 miles in ECO and at less than 4,000 RPM. I know what I do when I drive a loaner, so that part has be scared a little. Should I be?

If the miles are unlimited, what's the time frame. If a good offer like 8 to 10 years, what are you afraid of?
It's 5 years from the in-service date, and unlimited miles. We currently put about 28,000 miles/year on the Sportwagon TDI we are going to replace, so we plan to drive it a lot. We also plan to keep it as long as possible - that was the goal with the TDI, anyway, which has gone 5.3 years and 140,000 to date, all trouble-free I might add. So long-term durability is a key for us, and break-in miles I take seriously. It's just the one thing holding me back. Well, that and the possibility to get a good deal on MSRP on a new vehicle.

If your going to put over 100,000 miles on it in 5 years I see nothing to worry about. If there was a break in problem the warranty would cover it long before you have to worry about it.
