Hey @ Baski
The phone holder choice always depends on your personal preferences. Here at CARiD, we have lots of options from various manufacturers, that will keep your device in place even in the case of extremely heavy braking. Check out all of them at CARiD: https://www.carid.com/phone-car-mounts/

I'm using a ProClip holder (#246605) on a KUDA mount (#291955). Power comes from a hidden AUKEY Quick Charge 3.0 12V adapter via Anker PowerLine+ USB-C cable. I'd like to find a more aesthetic power delivery arrangement, but this keeps the phone well-fed with power, even when running Waze + Google Play Music + JBV1 over Bluetooth in low-signal areas. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8+.

You're welcome! The great thing about the KUDA mount is that it doesn't mar the dash at all, so it can be removed without leaving any holes.

Does anyone have experience with these phone mounts? Looks like it clips to the air vents and has wireless fast charging.

I've not found a wireless charging solution that can keep up with the demands I place on my phone while driving, especially when driving through low-signal areas. Even with wired charging, the phone will occasionally stop charging because it gets too hot.
Of course, this may not apply to your situation.

MBWorld Fanatic!
I'm a huge fan of Pitaka. It's a brand many don't hear about. Their cases are made of super thin Spectra (like carbon fiber, but passes signal instead of blocking) so they are about .75mm thin! What really changed when iPhone X came out, they added a magnetic/ferrous area to the rear of the case so you can use a magnetic mount on your dash and basically just slap your phone onto it. It also has Qi charging so phone gets power wirelessly while on there. I used to have it on my GLA using a CD slot-fitting mount, haven't refigured what to do with the GLC as I have Carplay I don't need to see the phone anymore or charge it - it must stay plugged in. But perhaps others will like this. They make cases for Samsung and others as well I believe. I personally hate cases, so for me to recommend something means a bunch.
