I ordered some aftermarket trim from aliexpress which is basically chinese amazon. Usually takes a couple of weeks to get and a few items have arrived and I put them on the car and so far so good. The stainless steel dash pieces match extremely well.
OP doesn't like black plastic like we do. OP loves shiny things...
Yes I guess that is true, call me old school but I do like a shiny dash with lots of metal trim. My favorite dash is almost all chrome with "art deco" styling that the family Dodge Coupe features, I guess I`m just a dinosaur.
Since I always use Android Auto and never use more than one drink holder I opted for one of these replacements which holds the phone, key, cards etc. very well made piece that fits flawlessly in place of the original.

I would never go so far as to say that, call you a dino, olde skool maybe...
Mercedes makes that mat - like $35 and perfect fit and quite a nice mat - sorry I have not seen a China knockoff yet.
There is a very nice China plug-n-play wireless charger to the same area of the front center console like $110 - and also China "wireless" CarPlay adapter for like $600 - either one I have not been bold enough to try yet.

Not willing to pay $35 for a rubber mat that should have been included instead of worthless ashtray. Not a money issue, it a principal issue.
