One More Question, Offroad package
I'm new to my 2022 GLC 300 I bought a month ago. A CPO. Heavily optioned with a Sticker price of $59,560.
I have asked some questions here previously and appreciate the responses.
Listed under standard accessories is option code 482, off road comfort suspension. This seems to be on every sticker I've looked at online so it must be standard.
Under OPTIONS I have code 430, Offroad Package. A $300 option.
I've Googled this and can't find any info on it. Can anyone explain what is included in this package? I know there is supposed to be an offroad selection in the Dynamic select but I haven't checked that out yet. Anything else in included in the offroad package?
I haven't seen this option on any of the GLC's I looked at online before buying my vehicle, or since.
Thanks

Our 2019 included downhill descent control, and I believe it reduced engine responsiveness and maybe brake calibration. And skid plates.

I checked the Dynamic Select settings and there are 2 of them, Offroad & Offroad+. Offroad shows (rock) and + shows (sand).
I don't know why Mercedes would think this is an offroad vehicle. Maybe with an air suspension to raise the chassis a couple inches for more ground clearance.
But as this vehicle sits now, no way. I don't plan to try it out anytime soon.

The GLC is surprisingly capable off-road.
If you pay attention to approach and departure angles, it'll play with the rest of the off-road crowd.

It's the ground clearance that could be an issue. The tires aren't the best either for off roading.
With 20" rims and Pirelli run flats, it's not the ideal combo.
I do own a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport, Badlands trim that's much better suited for the trails and back country.
