22' GLC 300 warranty void

I Have 2022 GLC300, came with run flat tires, was told that this model has to have run flat, if I change to regular tire, will this void warranty.

Sure, the tire warranty will be void if you change tires.

That's not true it might void the tire warranty, depending on the provider. If it's an MB tire and rim coverage that's is underwritten by Safe Guard and you have purchased those tires from an MB authorized dealer then it should still stay in effect.

There is actually no warranty on OE tires! That's true of all manufacturers I believe.

Warranties only come on replacement tires, and then it depends on the manufacturer and the seller.

If you buy from a Mercedes shop and have them installed there, they come with a free 2-year road hazard warranty, Non-Prorated with labor included.
Sometimes they're the cheapest as well, mounted and balanced.

I got rid of the crappy Run Flats and replaced them with Michelin Defender II non-runflat tires. I'm an Attorney, so I'd love for M-B to try to void my warranty for changing to non-reunflats.

I think only the Forum is trying to void your warranty, not Mercedes....

GLB 250 FWD
I just bought a used 2022 GLC 300 4MATIC. It's a CPO with just over 13K miles. It has the Pirelli Scorpion Verde run flats, 255/45-20.

It has the spare tire option so run flats aren't necessary for me. The tires have a lot of tread life left on them. I plan on replacing them with a good M/S tire when they wear out.

What can I expect for tread life based on your experience with these tires? I feel that they ride fairly well compared to the GLB 250 I had previously with run flats, 43 PSI recommended on the GLB 19" tires.

I assume that I can expect a better ride with good M/S tires.

GLC 300
I only got about 13K on my 18" Pirelli's on my 2020 - I hated the run flats but ran them at 32 for best ride - I recently got the Continental Crosscontact LX25 Non run flat and love them - the ride is so smooth and quiet - night and day difference - I keep them around 34 which I think gives the best ride. Since I went to the regular tire I decided to add this option https://modernspare.com/product/2015...e-kit-options/ to have a spare for long drives. I got the full kit.(read all about the options on the site) It does not totally fit underneath the rear floor in my version of the 2020 - but I just lay it in the rear hatch area if I need it. Works for me and it is a great well made product and comes with everything you need if you get a flat. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the info. I have the factory spare option so I don't need the kit.
At 13K miles and still a lot of tread left so may last to 25K, but who knows.
