Steering Wheel Vibrations At Higher MPH

I purchased a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 4MATIC over the weekend. As I was driving it home at highway speeds I noticed pretty intense steering wheel vibrations while hitting bumps in the road. The vibrations would last about 1 to 3 seconds and then a computer would shut them off.
The dealership does not know which software update to perform to fix this issue but I know this model car has had this same exact issue in prior years.

Does anyone know which software update the service technicians need to perform to fix this issue?

Thank you

There is definitely an update for what you are experiencing but I am not sure what the software update itself is other than maybe it is an update to the electric steering module or something like that: https://mbworld.org/forums/glc-class...vibration.html

Thank you for your response. My car will go back into the shop next week and if we fix the issue I will post it on here referring to the specific software update that is needed so I can help any other owners experiencing these issues. I can't be the first person in the Mercedes world to experience this issue and I am shocked no one has any answers by now. This is the last year of the Gen 1 so this issue should not be a mystery by now. It is shocking...

I see, hopefully they figure it out. For some reason what I read so far this specific vibration issue was mostly present (or was it exclusive) to the 2022 model year, might have to due with a glitchy update or supply issue.

AFAIK, 2023 GLC is X254 while 2022 is still X253, which sometimes has this issue.
If yours is an X253, maybe you should post in the relevant forum?
And, I wonder if X254 has this issue as well?

I didn't realize OP posted in the X254, ya very likely it is an X253. I don't think 2023 X254s are being delivered in North America yet.

I was not aware if mine was X253 or X254. I will post another article in the other forum. Thanks

The dealership just called me and said the fix is a software update for the steering. The update is called LI46.35-P-062791.

Sorry I originally posted on the wrong forum (by mistake) but I think either way we are just looking for possible solutions for our cars problems so that maybe we can help one another.

Hopefully this post will provide insight on how to fix the issue.

I have the same issue with the same year and model. So far, the service manager at the dealership has not found a fix.

Higher mph, 80, 90, 100?

I don’t experience any variation setting cruise control speed at 80 mph.
