Engine Coolant for GLC 300

I read on the website of a distant Mercedes dealership's Service Dept that they recommend changing the engine coolant every 2 years or 30,000 miles.
My local Mercedes service advisor said that's not necessary, that's too frequent. He recommended no sooner than every 5 years or 50,000 miles at the earliest.
Just wondered what other GLC 300 owners think is appropriate.

I recall answering this exact question you have last year on a different thread but you didn't reply back.
Speaking of bugs, I also notice a certain bug that new threads start showing up with no actual new post. The struggles with outdated vbulletin form engine.

Either way, I do apologize for the inconvenience that I have caused.

The other benefit of waterless coolant is that there is able zero pressure in the system, even at the hottest temperatures. I can drive the car for an hour in 100 deg heat, park and open the hood and when I remove the reservoir cap, it just makes a tiny breadth. The pressure of regular coolant can be 20 to 30 psi in modern cars and that pressure is what blows out water pump seals, radiators, engine oil and transmission heat exchangers, heater cores, rubber hoses and plastic fittings.
The boiling is much higher than coolant and so is the freeze point. Zero downsides. I also send my car oil samples to Blackstone and all the wear indicators are outstanding, so no engine issues at all from waterless coolant. A lot of people will have their own theories as to why waterless coolant can't work, I have heard them all, but I have it in all my cars now for 100's of thousands of miles and about 8 years, so I prefer my actual experience versus their theories. The one I use is Evans.
