One of the First 2018 GLC63 SUV's
New to MBWorld, but just swapped out my 2016 E63 for a 2018 GLC63 SUV. Have waited a little over 5-6 months for the SUV but I am surprisingly impressed with the truck. Located within NJ, I have not seen any GLC63s yet on the road. Not sure if anyone has taken any delivery of an SUV yet, but seen a couple of coupes on here. I always loved the look of the GLC and with the AMG exterior additions the car looks great. Handles very well even though it feels very much like a C63 inside. I believe the suspension and trans both come from the new E63 which kind of makes this truck a hybrid between the two. As far as the brakes, they feel good now but MB brakes always under perform to me. The carbon ceramics would be a great option for a sporty driver as myself. I really like to push my cars and this is also my first SUV, so this is a totally new experience. The suspension is firm, minimal roll, through hard corners you can feel the back end rolling a tiny bit, but can be countered by the rear wheel drive bias if you give the car a little more power. All in all within the first day I can say I'm excited, I think more than my old E63. On to the pics and build, received a 6% discount for the wait, and also received an additional $1250-1500 fleet discount from my united club card. Have not gotten a chance to take photos with my camera but here are some from my iPhone X.
