Quote: Ron.s's vehicle is supposed to arrive this week. Mine may be the first with E-ABC. Dealer previously told me it should take 18-20 days to arrive, but maybe they put it on an express truck so I'd quit complaining?!
Great. Should be interesting to hear about e-abc from an actual owner.

Dealer order guide
A bit off topic, but has a dealer guide update come out for April? I keep hoping that the items listed as unavailable till december magically appear (maybe in an Easter basket, with a bow on top).

Perfectly on topic. I posted it in #3129: https://mbworld.org/forums/gle-class...ml#post7722632. No such luck; more options (upholsteries) delayed.

DOG
Well, now my leather choice is gone. I think I am going to call my dealer and tell him to postpone my car order till the black leather comes back. Maybe then I can get the metal weave dash. My husband's leather choice is
still available(fingers crossed), but he wants metal weave too if possible. It beggars belief that they are not able to provide the (fairly limited) interior choices that were in the original DOG. Just pooh.

I may be off base but if your order has been accepted with the choices you want-then you may still be OK. Normally they would have enough of the product to fill existing orders or notify the dealer. But as we know nothing about orders is normal right now.

I just got an email from Dealer saying that the DA0 package replace the DQ1. DA0 was the original MBUX Technology Package but was replaced by DQ1 which is the same minus the Interior Assist (when there was a shortage of the parts for interior assist?). Looks like the Interior Assist is back in order now?

Ron, I hope you are right. The ordering process has been frustrating, to say the least.

Quote: So, we finally got the prices for our market, although delivery is August- September. Some of you might be a bit surprised considering this is a pretty lightly equipped GLE, but this is how things are here due to heavy taxes on car imports. We're not the worst, but definitely much higher than regular Msrps.

Extra specs:
992U Selenite Grey paint
H31 Natural grain gray trim
P31 AMG Exterior package
P55 w/ Night Package
P47 360 camera
876 Ambient lighting
810 Burmester Surround Sound System
RWB 21" AMG Tires

Total price: US$106,300

Some codes might be off, but these are the codes used by my local dealer. Have not double checked them against DOG.
The same with us but we have 20" tires and without night package. Included also energizing package, steel suspension, MBUX Inovation package, multibeam headlights, 360 degree cameras, exclusive interior package & air balance package.

All of this for $88000 arriving in July

You think you have limited choices of interior in US, in UK we have 2 leathers, black or black and white and one trim black ash.

My delivery and options
Quote: Ron, I hope you are right. The ordering process has been frustrating, to say the least.
So, my order went through with full MBUX Technology package and the Flamed Black Ash trim, but my production started 2/27. Not sure at what point your options are locked in and immune from future changes in the DOG. What's your production date, Beth?

My car finished production last Saturday, 4/6 and shipped 4/8; showing ETA to dealer of 4/24. I'm selling my current car 4/21 and dealer offered me a loaner for the gap. I'm getting excited now! This is from NetStar today:

24 days. Not sure it would have happened even that soon without frequent calls/emails to the VP of Customer Relations, the Customer Assistance Center and West Coast Distribution and tweets.

Yeah I know. You did a great job of following up without losing your Mind. I would have lost mine within a week.

I will have mine Monday and plan to take pics of the exhaust once I find out for certain about Active Exhausts on the AMG body. Real or fake and just a baffle that opens and closes like our Audi.
Oh wait😂. Mine is now scheduled for Monday but Will it arrive then? Maybe, Maybe Not!

Given the two pipes leading to the outlet (photo posted by JoeMa earlier) I've got to think it is active with a valve in one of them.

That's my guess but there was a post that a Prototype had real exhausts and the picture leaves room for doubt about what’s there. I hope it has both. Audi has the valve to route all exhaust through one pipe at low RPM to create an aggressive sound vs the odd noise from 3 cyclinders.
