Production delays/ timeline

Finally got her to send me a screenshot of NetStar. Maybe someone here can help decipher it for me. It looks like it went into production on April 14 and is just sitting idle now.

I do not see start of production there - need to see complete events listing. Dealer should know how to print of PDFs of whole NetStar pages. 4/14 is the date it should have been completed.

I can't find an answer on Google. B4 apparently means 2 days from completion. Not sure what the X-2 is all about. Maybe @fabbrisd can help?

Been trying to call a contact at MB Customer Care that was forwarded to me by a forum member (thanks, you know who you are). Left numerous messages this week, just trying to get a clue on any status, but as true to the MB road map on the GLE, crickets. I have a Range Rover dealer that is trying as hard as he can to get me into one of his full size rovers, and it's getting harder to resist. I'm hoping that maybe the MB contact is just on vacation and will get back with me Monday, but I doubt it. I'm tiring of this game fraught with just shameful customer service and downright disrespectful treatment of their client base, especially a repeat client of their AMG line as well. Anyone thinking of getting help from their so-called "customer care team" should be ready for more disappointment. Any excitement I've had over getting my GLE is mostly shot.
I took a lot of timing weighing options when I ordered the GLE and did a lot of research on it, here and other places. Otherwise, I would have just moved on when they couldn't deliver and then started the silent game. I'm sure another brand will gladly take my almost $100k cash deal; hell, adding money to the rover deal too. I put a lot of time and effort into this and now I just want my damn car. Can't express my disappointment with MB enough. I had thought better of them, frankly. I get that stuff happens, but their handling of the situation is disgraceful.
Ok. Rant over. Better luck to all in the same boat as me.

At least MB is consistent on how to treat their customers, which is ignoring and delay response tactic.
Don’t feel bad we all on the same boat. The only time I got a call from the dealer was when want my deposit. The rest is all from me sending emails and call out to them. You can’t win they are professional sales, they know how to talk.

Progress on GLE 450
I last posted my order status on May 13. I ordered a 450 fairly loaded with e-ABC on Jan 29. My production date was 6/3/2019 but there was no VIN assigned at that time. I check my status last weekend and the production date has been changed to 6/10/2019 but there is still no VIN assigned. The sales people tell me that the VIN is assigned 2 weeks before production is complete or 6 days before production is complete, depending on who you ask.
It is extremely frustrating trying to get complete or accurate information as to what is going on. I don't know why Mercedes thinks that details of a customer's order progress should be kept a secret from the customer.

Based on what has been reported by others here and in the V167 thread it seems like things are starting to move along in a more normal fashion. Hopefully, I won't have to go through GregW's experience in B4 status.

I check my status again today and it appears that progress is being made. The production date is still 6/10/2019 but the status has changed to B4 X-2 PROD. It shows that a VIN was assigned on 5/31 and that production was started on 5/31.

I swung into a nearby dealership today to see if they had any 450s coming in soon by some miracle. SA told me they have four on order and three are pre-sold. The fourth won't be completed until August. He asked if I'd be interested in ordering that one and I told him about the one I already ordered from the other dealer in my area. He went into NetStar to check on it and he said I'll have one of the first 450s delivered to New England. He also said that if I still want to stay with the 450 after all this delay, don't do anything that would cause me to lose this car. So that's encouraging, anyway. I figure it should at least be done in the next two months or he would have tried to get me to take the one he has coming in.
He said his dealership has had just one 450 since they were released and it sold immediately.

GLE450 Ordered 12/11 Build date Mar 3rd decade, Mar 1st decade, 4/27 now 5/3
On 4/29 my SA informed me that my fully loaded GLE 450 with E-ABC had moved to production status. As of yesterday I asked for the Vin # and the production code. My Vin # is in the low 48,000 and my production code is B4A. I understand what B4 means but I don't know what the A stands for. I assume my car has been produced and it is setting parked somewhere in Tuscaloosa, exposed to heat and humidity and bird droppings. Not exactly how I think a new car should be treated. Frustrating to no end. MB is handling this situation so badly.
