When I was ordering the car, SA advised that is would take 3 months to get here.

SA informed me the end of June that production will start soon, then Advised end of August that Production is completed, and a delivery date was set for this week.
Called my SA today to make sure that we are all set for this week, and he informed me that it will be delayed and now the new delivery date is beginning of November.
I am based in Toronto Canada.
Had made custom orders from Benz before, Never had any issues in the past.
Not sure if it's worth waiting till November!
I have nearly the same issue: car was completed in July and arrived to the dealer end August. I was supposed to take delivery on 13 September but got a message from the dealer a few days ago that the handover was delayed due to a "minor SIM card issue"...

I still have now information as to when I will be able to get it!

The positive side is that the we can expect that all bugs and issues of the car will be fixed when we will get it...

Finally some good news for me, just got a VIN and the status moved from "B3 - X-10 Prod" to "B4 - X-2 Prod"! Fingers crossed that 10/10 is the final production date.

Edit: My VIN isn't showing up in the various decoder sites like mbdecoder.com yet. How long does that usually take?

c coupe
Made order for mercedes c coupe 180 (amg exterior only, not engine) somewhere around middle of march. At the day of order i was estimated delivery for late july early august. Needles to say the delivery date was pushed back for additional 30 days at the start of august due to wltp certification documentation, only to get a phone call at start of september of a 2nd 10 to 60 days push back. I guess i should note that this is for delivery in Europen, nothing to do with mbusa, guess they are having problems worldwide. Apparently the car passed wltp tests but is waiting on the documentation to be issued by a third party government legislation.

update;https://www.motorauthority.com/news/...ed-diesel-cars

Well, how about that. what are the chance mercedes will have to recall another 700 000+ models like it did in 2018? Seems cheating Pete didn't learned his lessons past year.

Interestingly enough our friends at AClassClub also have a delay thread going on so what we are experiencing is not specific to the GLE only.
In addition to that it appears that the A-Class comes with wireless CarPlay / AndroidAuto so I would expect the GLE gets it very soon as well.

I have attached the Sept 13 Dealer Order Guide for the A-Class - note no mention of "wireless Carplay"... maybe A-Class forum vapes too much

Checked on the MB France website and it is said that you can connect your phone wirelessly in the A-class by using the NFC technology. There is not the same specification for the GLE.

After a 3-week waiting period after the first cancelled delivery date, my GLE is finally ready for handover (this Friday). Let's hope that all recalls and updates have been made and all issues have been fixed...

I was under the impression that NFC for Apple devices is only used for payments currently, and some tagging as of newer iOS versions?

Actually the website doesn't specify if the NF technology is used by Apple or Android. It just says you can connect your "smartphone" through USB or NFC technology.

Interesting! Bluetooth is already connected and has the bandwidth for wireless so why NFC? Not a question, just conjecture on my part.

I also think that there are people with different level of understanding of phone connectivity on various forums. We are specifically talking about wireless carplay but some people may confuse being connected on bluetooth as "wireless connectivity". For most part, other than seeing google maps on screen, i think bluetooth alone works well for my use.

Update on 450 order with E:ABC

All options except 3rd row, high end 3D sound, and running boards. We will see if the October 10 date holds. Dealer says 450 orders are coming in, but SA said we are the only order with E:ABC. Still unable to get the rear spoiler in original order or updated to include. Dealer says it is being redesigned and will be available "soon."
Received an update yesterday, October 2. Car has been built and left the Vehicle Processing Center and is "ready" for transport to Austin, TX. Very strange, given it was not scheduled to be built until October 10... Dealer has ordered a spoiler and will paint it at the dealer and install when car comes in. SA thought it would be in as early as this weekend. Will update when/if car comes in.

Did you have the same issue than me: delivery date was initially early September but the dealer told you that because of a "minor" issue the delivery had to be postponed?

He didnt give the detail but looks like it missed the shipping date so rather than arriving into the UK early sept, it came late sept instead.

So your car is actually super early! It could be ready before it was even scheduled to be built?

That's good news for you (and everyone else) I hope!

Alright. My fully loaded 450 which was ordered in April has been pushed back again to beginning of November. I’m putting a lot more miles on my weekend car than I would have hoped after selling my last commuter. 😩

As of today 10/03/19 status it’s still B4....getting ready to cancel and move on...!!!! MB has really let me down....also concerned that if I would ever get it what problems will come with it since it started in production early July and went to B4 in late July...ordered 3/14/19

No E-ABC or Air Suspension .....2020 GLE 450 (on order), Iridium Silver w/ Black MB-Tex w/ Dark Grey Linden Wood Trim, Black Headliner, 20" 10-Spokes, Prem 1 Pkg, Burmester Surround Sound System, Heated Steering Wheel, Illuminated Running Boards, MBUX Tech Pkg, Parking Assist Pkg, Lighting Pkg, Wheel Locks, Heated and Ventilated seats, Heated and Cooled Cupholders, MB Tex Dash, Power Pass Seat,

More good news for me... The 10/10 production date was exceeded: production was actually completed on 10/01 and the car is now in "F1 - Wholesaled" status!

10/01 Production Completed
10/01 VPC Delayed
10/02 Label Printed
10/02 VPC Ready
10/03 RLS to Carrier
10/03 Wholesaled
10/04 Shipment Transport. Dest. Chg.
10/04 Vehicle Loaded on Rail

VIN still isn't showing up in the various decoder sites, but then again they say my vehicle may be too new for it to be listed.
