Hello,
took delivery on 3/28 (ordered 10/26/19) of our GLE450 - So far very happy and no glitches (yet?).
Ordered the OEM Stainless Sport Pedals for dealer today. Expected in for the weekend.
Looking to use my extra free time to install myself.
Anyone have first hand knowledge of install process/dificulty??
Are there any printed instructions for performing this minor upgrade??

Thanks in advance.

just pull and push real hard. might have to spray dishwashing liquid on back of pedal to help they slipover.

That works for the brake pedal, but the accelerator pedal is a complete replacement, so I am going to have the dealer do it.

That’s right. I had mine replaced by the dealer before they gave me the car and I can confirm the throttle needs full replacement.

The pedals look much better with the sport faces. I had sports pedals in my old MY13 B class so I was really against going back to rubber pedals.

I did the task this morning in less than 10 minutes all in.
2 bolts (13mm), one wire to disconnect/reconnect for accelerator pedal.
simply pull off/push on for brake pedal.

I know this is an old thread, but I just ordered the sport pedals. Do you happen to know the part number for the other part needed for the accelerator besides the pedal?

It should include both if you get the assembly. The brake is just a "face swap", the accelerator is the entire unit where you need to unbolt the old one, disconnect, and reinstall the new one. Those part numbers are for the 2020. You could also get the two separately.

(image shown are the old part, those that came out of my car)

Thanks! So when you order the pedals, it comes with the assembly for the accelerator? I had ordered the same part number in your photo. I canceled the order thinking it was just the pedals and didn't come with the assembly. If it does come with the assembly for it, then I'll reorder it.

If you order the assembly (part number on box), it comes with both parts (the 2 parts with part number on bags).
