19” Bridgestone Alenza tire wear

I’ve got the standard 19” wheels with Bridgestone Alenza tires. After 8,200 miles, tread shows 7/32. At this rate, they’ll barely make it to 20,000 miles. What are others getting?

Are those the extended mobility tires? I understand they are known to give poor treadwear life.

Hmmm....Bridgestone rates them at 600 or 700 for tread wear, which is very high.

What is the tread depth a new Alenza tire? 7/32nd is 1/32nd away from a 1/4 inch. If you do think it’s wearing fast, have you had Mercedes do a 4-wheel alignment?

Per The Tire Rack, the tread depth is 11/32". Generally, 4/32" is considered minimum. Looks like tread wear is listed as 540, but that's still pretty high.

Found the answer to my own question. According to tire rack it is 11/32nd. So you wore 4/32nd off the tire (1/8 of an inch) in 8.2k miles. Is that on the outside of the tire or the inside of the tire? if it’s the outside, it could be one two things. It is either out of alignment, or you’re taking curves too fast. That does seem like very excessive wear.

The 7/32 measure is front driver side tire. Rear driver side is 8/32.

Same measure on inside, middle, and outside of tire.

With 7,400 mi. on my 21" Pirelli Scorpion Zeros they have only worn 1/32"; from an original 10/32" they are down to 9/32" F&R. They have a tread wear rating of 500, compared to 540 on the Bridgestones. So, your wear is very high - better quit those 4-wheel burnouts!
