I have the amg 21 inch multi spoke wheels (different widths between front and rear). Does anyone know the part number for OEM wheel locks?
I don’t but they are M15, Ball Seat and will either be silver or black depending on your wheels (night package?). The dealer will use your SN for fitment and they are about $150. I think all 2020-21’s use the same set and AFAIK there are no aftermarket available yet.
I believe those are the ones I have, I can double check next time I'm near the car (which may not be today).
FYI, I have the night package but still got the "silver" wheel locking bolts because the standard bolts are silver even with the black accent wheels. The black locking bolts would look off.
Also FYI, some online MB dealers sell them for ~$60 which is probably much less than your parts department does.
Yes. Mine is nite package with silver nuts so I’d need to do same and stay with silver locks as well. I’d be appreciative when you can confirm the part number

Yup, this is the case I have and a picture of my 21" wheels with black accents (night package) with the bolts.
It’s interesting to note that my wife has the exact same wheels on her 2020 GLE 450 and that the part number for the wheel locks are different- albeit the same wheel. Not to mention that her lugs came silver from the factory with the exception of the lock itself. We had the wheels powder coated solid black, but they’re the exact same wheels as above. I’m in the process of trying to buy black lugs which brought me to this post. Pics below for comparison.

Try Otis LA for Black Lugs, M15, 1.25, ball seat. As I recall they had them when I bought some conical last year.

The bolt length on factory wheels is longer than on aftermarket so getting black the correct length might require some research. Aren’t factory bolts in black available now? The 22” come with black.

Correct probably too short but they are advertised for the 2020 GLE/GLS with so the question is how long do they need to be? I didn’t get around to measuring mine to see how long the bolt really needs to be for enough threads to be safe. (15mm of threads or is a little less thread still safe with the larger bolt?)

I did extensive measuring when I ordered my custom Ti bolts. I would not trust shorter than stock.

Great picture, GregW. I found that arguing with some folks, who have no clue what they're talking about while continuing to put forth completely ludicrous information, is a waste of time.
And then the temporary spare needs shorter bolts. Make sure you have the shorter bolts if you use your spare, otherwise the standard wheel bolts will interfere with wheel rotation.

Rule of thumb is that the amount of threads engaged, is at least the same as the diameter of the bolt. But not so long that they bottom out, or in this case, interfere with the wheel/disc rotation.
So, not to hijack the thread but I’m still struggling to find black lugs for my 2020 GLE with the exact factory specs. After giving my local MB dealership my vin number they told me that I cant even buy them- they don’t make them in black. I find that odd because our GLE was sold to us with black locks, but silver lugs- pic below. Have any of you guys tried to find black lugs? Otis may have some that will work, but not quite the same spec, special order, no refunds and they’re 7.00/a piece.
As I said before, the length will be the issue if you get M15x1.25 ball seat. If Greg’s drawing in post 18 showed the rotor depth you could calculate the necessary length to get something close to 15mm of thread in the hub using Greg’s calculations. Personally I would be OK with 12mm of thread...about 1/2”. The linked bolts don’t show a length so you might call them to get the measurements and ask about their return policy.
The Dealer running your vin is only checking for a factory bolt for your specific vehicle. Since no US built GLE’s have a wheel with black they will not find one even if it exists...that’s my understanding. There could be a black AMG wheel not offered in the US with black bolts that would fit....maybe someone in Europe will post. You could go to Germany to try a build and/or England to see what they offer. Like you said though...since they make black M15 locks they must make black bolts also. Another possibility is to check some of the performance cars like the Mercedes AMG Black to see if any come with black wheels & M15 bolts.

Paint silver caps. Easy, inexpensive, quick. I bought black (flat or gloss, your choice) auto touch up paint from Walmart for under $10. Start with four spare bolts. When paint cures, replace the four silver bolts, then paint the four you took out, so on.
Just on a hunch I checked the G Wagon...2020 AMG G 63 and it has black wheels (21 & 22). Get a vin by searching inventory at some larger dealers and you may find your black bolts. You parts guy should be able to get specs after getting a part number.
Edit-Forgot the obvious...find a 2020-21 GLE with the 22” black wheels and you have your bolts. Get SN and check with your parts guy. Lots of AMG’s and some others. Maybe BACnmercedes has his SN, he has black 22’s coming on his 580👍
My GLS 450 with 8-spoke wheels came in with locking lug nuts in black. It looked odd to have 4 silver and 1 black. My dealer ordered silver ones and replaced the black under warranty. If you look in the accessories available on the MBUSA website, you will find some info on black and silver locking lug nuts.

Good idea BUT the spare lugs are a different length, probably too short for safe insertion/hold. If you try this, compare lengths first.
