Strange. Does not work for me. Throws exactly the same errors, however, I'm running the 64-bit version.

BTW, my Edge throws those same errors, but they don't prevent the update page from proceeding.

I've submitted another ticket to Mercedes me connect support and finally got a response that the issue has been escalated. Previous attempts have gone without a response, so hopefully it gets fixed soon and starts working in all browsers.

Not working again today. Goes to the German site. Must be something about auto manufacturers today. Wife's Kia PHEV has a check engine light and gave a P0365 code on the Kia app, which is a sensor issue. Had that once before and replaced the sensor. But dealer couldn't diagnose since Kia is down and they can't get to anything. I can't even get to the app, with a message of system outage. Fortunately, we can do without the car but it is frightening how much everything depends upon IT.

It's working for me. I had that issue before. Clear your cookies for the site, so that you can login fresh. I had this issue in conjunction with the AMG Private Lounge and I resolved it by logging out from the Private Lounge. They both share the same login. But if you are not using the AMG Private Lounge, then clear your cookies so you get a fresh login.

So the response I just got says they are aware of the issue and a fix is coming. It's been taking them long enough.

Please be advised that my next tier of support has informed me that they are aware of this issue and there is a fix they plan to implement during their next update to the website.

Odd how Chrome doesn't work for me but Chromium Edge does, but not for you. Also, my update to V. 380 worked fine but the portal thinks I'm still at 370. Another bug? It's constantly telling me my car (in the garage) is unlocked, so the car and the mother ship are talking, but it's not updating the map status.

My assumption is that the online map update function is completely broken in Chrome/Chromium. It is odd that the download worked for you in Edge, but perhaps the map status isn't working correctly? Have you tried Firefox? For me the portal in Firefox correctly shows that all regions and voice control are on 380. I did have issues with Live Traffic, though, this weekend. It stopped working, but I got it resolved by going to Manage Services and deactivating Live Traffic, followed by activating it again. You can try the same with the Map Update service, but I would first check with Firefox.

Also, have you doublechecked the versions in the car to make sure they are indeed on 380? I've noticed that the upgrade process will install whatever you give it, even if the same version is already installed and possibly even allows installing an older version, but I haven't tried that. So you have to verify the versions at the end to see what's actually installed. If the download didn't actually work correctly, you may have just just ended up reinstalling 370.

COMAND confirms it's on 380. Firefox also shows the mother ship things I'm still on 370.

Yes. I actually bought a USB-C flash drive just for this task.

​​​​​​You will first need a USB drive (usb c drive would be the easiest if you have one and your computer has the port)
On the Mercedes Me website, select "Online Map Update", "Manual Update", and select all. At the bottom, there is a "Launch Download Manager" (you will need to install it the first time, link below the button).
Once its completed, disconnect it from the computer and connect it to the car USB port when the car is on. The infotainment system should detect the drive and map data and prompt you with the steps for the actual update (might take a while)
I used this procedure and was able to successfully update maps. I got an error message when I removed the usb drive. Is that normal? What is the procedure for disconnecting the sub drive?
​​​​​​Same thing happened to me when removing the usb stick. Error message was gone the next day.

Audio Directions from NAV

Have 2021 GLE53 and sometimes use Waze thru CarPlay and sometimes use the NAV System. Is there audio instructions of the next turn. I am having trouble finding the setting to toggle that on or off. Know I must be slow in finding it.....
