No more Massage Seats From factory order in Canada
I was trying to order the gle 450 with Esperesso seats, E-active body control.. fully loaded model from factory and we were just told at the last minute before making the deposit to order that there are no massage seats available in canada. Is this information accurate?

Correct. They have been removed from the Comfort Package and the price has been reduced by $1,000.
At least that's how it was for me when my order went in about a month ago. Didn't matter to me at all as I've had massing seats in cars for years and used them maybe three times.

In Canada, I tried to get expresso brown/black leather seats ordered in December and was told this would not be available until the July 2021 build which means another 2-3 months wait maybe Sept/ Oct 2021. One will be in the 2022 year at this point.

Unfortunately, there is no way to know what supply chain disruptions may affect a build until "right before it's time to wrap up the deal." Mercedes does not build seats, windshields, tires, or motors, so they can't predict availability several months in the future. Just as they can't predict demand, which affects availability. Or your change of residence to Canada. Or the weather on your pickup date.

The Massage Seats will likely return as soon as they sort out production quality issues of the seats. Because of demand, they might have added a supplier that couldn’t build them right...I’ve seen a batch recently with cosmetic issues including mine. My 2020 GLE 450 had them and they were perfect so something has changed. Johnson Controls was the largest worldwide supplier of seats a few years ago and opened a facility at the Mercedes Vance Plant.
Johnson Controls spun off their Automotive subsidiary in late 2016 that now operates as a separate company...Adient. I assume that Adient is still building at Vance but they might not be able to supply the quantity/quality needed. Mercedes has more than one supplier. Mercedes had to drop a seat supplier in late 2019 or early 2020. This could be happening again. Someday the details might become public from a financial report from a Stock Analyst meeting or an Automotive magazine article.

After speaking with the sales manager.. I was told that there is no more contour seats, then another dealership told me there is but there is no more Massage feature for them... can those features be added in a near future ?

call any dealership in Canada, you should be able to order as of Today, I ordered mine yesterday even with the E Active body control, after my Gf saw the payments options and tried the massage seats at the dealership.. there was no going back.. we almost go the GlS 63, but 200k to have the same options is a bit much from the price of the GLE 450 fully loaded. Cheers

I’m going to have some serious buyer’s (order’ers?) remorse if MB Canada decided suddenly to make the G L E 580 available here!

The MB Canada website does not have the GLE 580 listed, but they do still show 'Multicontour front seats with massage feature' available for the GLE 450. Must be something the dealership has to negotiate or remove from your order if it is in fact not available.
