GLE 450 21” off-road tire

maybe I have to pay more to downgrade to 20” wheel. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks
Didn’t go with OEM wheels due to cost and that I’d likely damage them off road.
I went with Mille Miglia MM047 9x20 et45 wheels all round with 275/55/20 Pirelli P Zero All Terrain Plus.
They have been good on road, off road and in the snow.

Im looking at 20x9.5 et35 was gonna do 265 50 20 since lot more options over 275 50. But if 275 55* work ill go with those as theres a ton of options. Tia

No rub at all with the 275 55 20

I preferred them to the 22” summer tyres I had, they soaked up the rough roads better and can’t say I noticed any difference in noise.
Love how his car drives now, smoother and quieter (it was already very smooth and quiet) without giving up any of previous handling qualities.
No rubbing or whatever issues after 3k miles.
Now, seriously thinking to do the same on my car, 9k miles with OEM Cooper Discoverer. Still running good with a lot of mileage ahead.
OEM Cooper tires are not bad IMHO, but improvement with mentioned replacement makes a lot of sense to me.

OP doesn’t have too many choices. I go off-roading and hunting but use my FJ Cruiser. If I had to use my GLE as an emergency replacement off dirt roader I would pick somewhere open, no bushes around and can see city lights in the distance😂 than I would go play with the dirt with the tires I have on.
Only choice I see is get the pirelli all terrain or a Tacoma.

I don't have a ton of experience with SUV/truck tires, but isn't the typical school of thought to match the diameter of the stock setup? Is the only downside to bigger tires the speedometer reading?
