Dealership send me my new 350 picture after wait for 3 months, I told my sales specially I want Michelin tire, and the sales told me I don’t have choice, so I end up getting coopers tire and gave me all those shortage theory. I never use cooper tire, I did google as I see they are not as good as Michelin.

any thoughts on cooper‘s tire ?

My '22 GLE 450 came with Coopers; I too was looking for Michelins. I have no issue with the ride or noise; however, I just replaced the rear tires after 20K miles - that was a big disappointment. Front tires are still holding up well after 30K.

I just read cooper now own by Goodyear so there is no way I want to drive with these especially where I live it rain all the time.

Where do you live (add to your profile). Mercedes uses three tire manufacturers to minimize supply issues. All are tested for the application so you can be assured they're safe. Are they as good as Michelins? Probably not, but you have no choice. I would give them a try before replacing them.

Our 2020 GLE 450 came with Coopers. Found then noisy and a bit harsh on the ride. Coopers also seemed to wear fast. Replaced with Michelins after about 12K miles. Very happy with the Michelins.

My local Mercedes dealers only show the Cooper tire available in the 19" size. Do the larger sizes prevent the possibility of receiving Cooper Tires? TireRack also only has them in the 19" size.

Terrible, terrible tire, it's embarrassing that Mercedes would put these tires on their cars!

Mine were down to 4/32 after 12,000 miles on my GLE 450. They were done!

I replaced with Michelins. World of difference in ride and especially in treadwear.

Go to a Discount Tire location like the one in Weston (or a closer one, not sure where you live) before you put too many miles on your OEM tires and they will give you some trade-in value for them against a new set of Michelins. Couldn't guess their value but it's worth a shot. Call them first, get an idea, etc.

After 2 years of the Cooper tires on my 21 GLE 350, I replaced them with Contential CrossContact LX 25’s, so far so good. I was amazed how quickly the Coopers wore down and I actually switch them out for the winter for my Nokians. Disappointing.

My 2021 GLE came with Cooper tires, I too really didn’t want Coopers however the dealer was unable to switch them out. I have the 20 inch wheels and the tires have over 17k miles on them. Recently checked them and they are not anywhere close to needing to be replaced. I am fairly easy on tires and brakes so that helps. Enjoy your new GLE, forget about the tires, and if they require replacing a couple of years down the road, worry about it then. They are probably not as good as the Michelin tires, however, if they were so terrible MB would have stopped using them years ago ( hopefully ).

I think Cooper only received MO certification a couple of years ago. About the time that they were bought by Goodyear.

go up to 255/60 michelins defenders. on 19 inch it drives perfect and looks as it was suppose to be to begin with.

thanks for your reminder, it’s been 2 weeks drive on cooper tire . I absolutely don’t like the feel on the road and the tire looks smaller than I thought. I’m going to change to defender. that’s what I used to use on my 2016 GLE.
