GLE without NFC Wireless Charging
I'm looking at a used 2022 GLE but on the spec sheet it shows a -$200 for NFC wireless charging missing. I uderstand there was a chip shortage during this time. I don't really care about wireless charging, but will the lack of NFC impact automatically to Apple Car Play? Will I have to go through Bluetooth each time?

The 2022 GLE doesn't have wireless Carplay, so you'll need to connect by cable in either event-- so bluetooth and NFC don't matter for Carplay. You can play music audio through bluetooth without Carplay, and in that event, the only thing that NFC does on an Apple phone is begin the pairing process making it slightly easier to pair the phone. I've never used NFC in the vehicle at all.

Ditto what everyone else said above. Just want to mention that if you want wireless CP, there are devices for it. I use this for wireless Android Auto but they have a CP version. I think it's better than Ottocast which has slow and buggy software that negotiates btwn both CP and AA vs single platform like the item below, making it much more reliable.

Keeps from having to plug your phone and unplug your phone using Android Play. I use it on a 2020. This plugs into the USB Android/iPhone port and pair with your phone. Since it is Bluetooth - don't believe that it is charging the phone. I watched several YouTube videos prior to purchase. So far pretty satisfied.
