2024 GLE 450 wheels

Does anybody have the 20 inch twin 5-spoke wheels on a GLE 450. Does it look different from the AMG 20 inch twin 5-spoke version?

If you get the AMG appearance package on the GLE 450 they are the same.

Yes - I think I ordered the 5-spoke thinking it would look like the AMG. I get the twin 10-spoke looks better than the twin 5-spoke.

Thanks - I switched to the 19 inch 10-spoke because I am not crazy about the 20 inch choices of the twin 5-spoke or twin 10-spoke rims.

Are MB tires run flat? Is the 19 inch that comes with the GLE 450 a run flat tire? Is the 20 inch a run flat?

If you get the third row seats or the hybrid, you get runflat tires or a Tirefit kit (sealant goop and a pump).

My GLE450 came with the 5 spoke AMG 20" wheels. The tires are Michelin Primacy Tour A/S

I do not have a 3rd row and did not get the AMG package so I could not get the AMG tires. I could get the 19 inch that came with it or upgrade to the 20 inch twin 5-spoke or twin 10-spoke tires. I think all are run flat tires.

You need to download the order guide posted on this site. You only get run flat tires if you get the 3rd row seats or hybrid. This is because there is no room for a spare. It doesn't matter what the wheels are, the tires are the same.

For the 2020-2023 model year, the 19s came on smaller size tires. They had the same aspect ratio as the 20s, 50, so between the smaller width and smaller rim, they were much smaller. Do you mean "temporary spare" that's inflated, but is a skinny 155 X 19 or similar size?

As it should be. I still question why this wasn't the answer when the 167 launched.

Ah, I believe you're right. I thought the GLE had the full size spare and the GLS had the temporary spare but it looks like the GLE has the temp spare and the GLS has the "collapsable" spare.
