I use carpeted mats most of the time, rubber mats put on when there is snow in the forecast or residual from previous storms.
Back seat & passenger mats I’ll have the Weathertech/rubber mats clipped down and the carpeted thrown on top. Driver seat would be just carpet and rubber mat in garage or trunk

I like this system you have, gonna try it. Thanks!
I use the OEM all season rubber mats in my 24 350. I prefer them over the carpet mats I had in my 2017 350. I did buy a husky X-act contour liner for the back seats since that covers the hump in the middle as well. I then tossed the oem mats on top of the husky liner on each side.
Have you seen the Mercedes produced ribbed version of the carpeted mats? I have those and to me they are much nicer than the original carpeted ones. They're much thicker and because they don't have a flat more or less uniform texture like the normal carpeted ones, you can't see every dirty foot print on them. The sand/dirt tends to fall in the grooves.
