I have 22s with summer tires and 20s with winter tires. I love the look of the 22s but the comfort from the extra sidewalls on the 20s is very noticeable.
Driver and passenger side window tinting, 3M clear door edge guards and door cup protectors.

I didn't finish my comment. If you need to get winter wheels, consider getting the 20s as it's a nice change, especially since you are coming from an S-class. I just swapped back to summer tires a few weeks ago. Originally Posted by wildta

I like my Tuxmat all weather mats and did an emblem swap to make them look like OEM. For the cargo tray, I would get the OEM one. I have weathertech and it's not as durable, the Tuxmat one is too slippery.

Like that color a lot.
I have 21" staggered wheels. For your setup, are the tires 275/50/20 all the way around?

I had 20" all around on my 2020 GLE 450.
It's really not enough tire, even for the six cylinder. They would break traction when trying to insert into a gap in traffic and run wide. Not an aggressive maneuver, just "moving smartly."
However, I bought that 450 as a CPO with only 8,000 mi on it, and I think it was likely a press car that lived its life under full throttle runs. It had scads of problems and they took it back.
Still, I think a 5,000+ lb car needs more tire than 20" tires.

Good point. I'm definitely a less aggressive driver with my 20s and the handling is different than my 22s.Originally Posted by mikapen

I agree. The GLE 53 is a fine vehicle but I prefer the more understated look and sound of my 580. Originally Posted by jkaetz

I personally prefer the 580 (or 450) drive-train over the 53. But I like the steering, the tighter sports-seats and the suspension tuning of the 53. Originally Posted by wildta

I don’t like the highly stressed engines of either the 53 or the 63, when it comes to longevity. If I were leasing, that’s of course not a factor.
