Big smoke from exhaust pipe

Hi guys,

For the second time I had a big smoke from left exhaust pipe, my car got 3000Km, GLE 350d.

I had a call with a Mercedes dealer where I bought my car, he mentioned an issue the diesel particulate filter. I'm a bit concerned now... I will book an appointment next week at the car dealer.

Another issue, I can hear a random snap on the car, they also mentioned a link with the ad blue injector.

I was not expecting all this kind of problems for a brand new car.
If I can have some feedback from your experience would be awesome.
Thanks for your help.

Don't worry, it's under warranty, take it to your dealership.

When I got my ML350 bluetec in 2014 it worked great for 3 days and then started bucking. The next 4 weeks it went in and out of the shop until a German guy from MBUSA came by and told them to replace the exhaust. It was totally frustrating since I had custom ordered and waited for the car for over 3 months. I bet if that had happened in Germany, it would have been 1 visit to the shop and they would have replaced the faulty sensors.

white smoke is often due to water. It could be from the head gasket, but most probably from the AdBlue injector if you have a diesel. The AdBlue is water based. If it was sending much more AdBlue than needed, it would make sense to see some white smoke.

So I had an appointment this morning, you're right it's due to the AdBlue meeting the condensation in the exhaust(hot) and then making water vapor. It should disappear later on.

Same issue going on with my 2014 GL350 bluetech

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’ll lwt you know after my service appointment today. Only happens after car heats up...smells like adblue. I would be willing to bet this is my issue as well. Thanks for the lost
