My new 2018 GLE 400

It was a tough decision to trade in my GLE63 AMG, but I picked up my new truck today and love it! Smooth ride and much more space.

How is there more space in the 400? aren't they basically the same truck but the 63 has a bigger engine?

The previous GLE was a coupe, all around much more space.

thanks! I’m happy with this truck. Just analyzing the difference in fuel consumption.

One year in, how is it going? I'm about to purchase a CPO 2018 GLE 400 with 20,000 kilo and would appreciate your thoughts. Incidentally, it looks exactly like yours.

If you can stretch your budget a bit and can get one, I would recommend the GLE43. Same engine but tuned up by AMG. Not a huge price difference. Its more engaging.

Thanks for your response. I have already purchased the GLE 400 and love it so much. I read somewhere on this forum that the GL43 was a bit noisy due to the engine, so I had just kept my focus on the 400. I must say the 2020 GL43 sure looked good in the showroom.

That's great. If noise is an issue for you then the GLE400 would suit you best. For some us we wish the sound from the 43s was even louder.

Enjoy your ride.
