Bi turbo and twin turbo
I am looking to trade my ML 350 for a 2016 GLE 400. What is the difference between "twin turbos and bi turbos"?

No difference. The 2016 GLE400 uses the M276 3.0L V6 with two turbos, or biturbo, or twin turbo. The nomenclature is synonymous in this example.
Mercedes-Benz uses the marketing term "biturbo" on their website.

There is a difference if you want to be technical with the term.
Twin Turbo: 2 different size turbo chargers (Smaller Turbo for Low RPM and larger one for high RPM)
BiTurbo: are (2) same size turbochargers

Directly from Google: "The term twin turbo has been often given to vehicles that use sequential turbos, a small one for low rpm torque, and a larger one for higher rpms and power. The biturbo system uses two equally sized turbos."
