Hi does anyone know or recommend an obd scanner aside from the factory xentry unit that is able to preform the valve bleeding that is described in the workshop manual when performing a transmission fluid and filter change? Any help would be great. Our vehicle is a 2019 GLE 43/w166.

I am not sure the LAUNCH Creader can do valve bleeding. As a matter of fact, I cannot find "valve bleeding" as a procedure in XENTRY or procedures in the WIS when refilling the transmission. Do you have a document number for the procedures in the WIS?

That is a good question, will wait till OP responds.
I’m not sure if the is a valve bleeding actuation alone in the xentry. It is part of the system adaptation process when performing a transmission service. I believe the process holds the rpm at certain levels while actuation the valves (bleeding) in the transmission. I’ll post an example video if that helps.

I think the "valve bleeding" may only be with the 9G tranny. Below are variables that can be set when using the XENTRY Simulation. This was for the 9G transmission.
