Discount on 2025 GLE63s SUV?

Hello gentlemen.

I’m looking to order a 2025 GLE63s SUV and wondering what kind of discount off MSRP is reasonable. The MSRP for my build is approximately $145k, including delivery fee.

When I bought my 2019 E63s (MSRP $140k), dealers were open to discounting 5-6%, however that was in 2019 and this is my first purchase in the post-COVID landscape, so not sure what the new normal is.

Appreciate any insights! Thank you!

There's about 833 GLE63s (2024 model year) available nationwide which is a decent selection. Since the 2025's haven't been officially released, I personally don't see a dealer offering a hefty discount on a 2025 model.
On the flip side, as the consumer, it is up to you on what you are willing to pay for a new vehicle. I still think MSRP is too much on vehicles that are mass produced with healthy selections on dealer lots. If dealers aren't currently offering discounts or giving you the price you want, then my suggestion would be to wait.

I'm eager to see if others are finding discounts on 2025 models.

Seems like it is expiring in August of this year, so not sure.

Sorry I was wrong, it expires 01/02/2025.

Looking at this again, it seems like you’re right, the rebate only seems to apply for 2023 and 2024 models, not 2025.

The rebate seems to have been updated and is now offering $500 off on 2025 models.

Sadly the Uber-Ute market has collapsed as evidence from the amount of inventory and heavily reduced pricing. Get a lightly used 23-24’ and save a ton or aim for at least 10-12% off retail would be my advice. Good luck

I got $7300 off of a new 2025 GLE63 that has MSRP of $146k, I’d imagine you should be getting at least $10k off yours, if not more.

As I mentioned in another thread, I managed to get more than $30k off MSRP on my 2024 GLE63 S leased vehicle through a broker from a dealer down here in South FL

I originally thought about going with a 2024 model but it was hard finding one anywhere near me with the options I prefer. The majority of the dealers in my region seemed to have optioned their units with the crazy red interior which burns my retinas out and IMHO cheapens the look of the entire vehicle. On top of that, they always add in the carbon fiber trim which (again IMHO) looks tacky/cheap.

I was looking for a close to loaded vehicle with a white metallic exterior, a black nappa leather with diamond stitching interior with the grey oak wood trim, and no running boards. So custom order was the best route for me.

@GreenFox - We are picking up a 2025 GLE53 on Monday. I spent a WEEK going back and forth with the dealer on trying to get something of a discount. I got $500 for being an AMEX holder, and even tried to get a fleet discount as I work for Microsoft. However, I kept falling short. All the great incentives are on the '24 models. We live in Reno Nevada, and there is only one MB dealer here, and the closest one is in Sacramento 120+ miles away. They finally knocked $7k off the price for two reasons. First, this is the 9th car we've purchased at this dealer. Second, I threatened to work with a dealer over in Sacramento or the dealer in Oakland as they were offering up $9500 off on their '25 models. The Oakland dealer didn't have the spec we were looking for. So I used it as leverage.

Wish you luck! Happy savings hunting. Let us know what you ended up getting, or how you went about it.

@hyphen79 Thanks for sharing! I am also in NorCal like you and couldn't get the local dealer to give any sort of reasonable discount. They kept insisting on wanting over MSRP if I wanted them to use one of their custom allocation spots for a special order. I ended up ordering a 2025 GLE63s from a dealer in Colorado who was able to give a little over $7k off MSRP, or about 5% off sticker. Even with the cost of shipping it in an enclosed trailer from CO to CA, it was a big enough delta to make it worth it. Car ended up arriving this week and very happy with it. $7k off for your 53 sounds pretty reasonable!

The local dealer did that to me when I wanted to custom spec my '21 C63 S. They wanted $30k over invoice due to demand. The C 63 S was hoooooot in '21 because MB announced it was to be the final year of the C63. They lied and did a final addition in late 22 / 23 before they got rid of the V8s.
Anyways, MB of Oakland let me spec the C63 S for MSRP with the condition that I buy the pre-paid maintenance, extended warranty, and finance it through MBFS for 6 months before refinancing with my credit union. So for me $117K tax, title, delivery (out of state) out the door was better than the $135k Sacramento / Reno was asking before pre-paid maintenance / warranty.

Some dealerships get it, and sometimes dealerships need to be reminded that you take care of the repeat local customers. Since yours didn't you will remember that dealer in CO the next you plan to get another MB, and will probably give them a chance to win your business again.

Live in Northern Cal as well, already own a GLE53 AMG Coupe and looking to purchase another one for a second home. Based on this forum I've reached out to Oakland Benz and was offered 6% discount on a 2025 with a allocation in April.

Sending emails to a few other dealers.

Any other dealer suggestions? Dealer in Colorado?

Thanks, Yoda

Having a car built to order so it's not just finding a car. Need a dealer who's willing to accept a sold order and provide a discount. So far the best offer was 6% off MSRP.

If you can get 6% off MSRP, the dealership is relatively local, can really get you one by April and isn't playing any games, I'd go for it. That's a solid deal IMHO.

Thank you GreenFox,

The Allocation is in April with a late June or early July delivery. Still not too bad.

Waiting to hear back from a couple more but will decide in the next couple days.
