The one caveat I see in the fine print is that it says "in stock vehicles only" - so you may be somewhat limited depending on what you are looking at in terms of options.

I don't know if you can use it since you already going to pickup your GLK. I believe this coupon can only be use when you purchase/order the GLK. But, talk to your dealer and see you if you can use the coupon. PM me and I will try to get you a coupon.

The business manager sent the coupon to MB Canada (Toronto) as it's a Canada wide promotion, and so I will have to wait and see if I actually got it or not.

Thank you...yes I was thinking about the Infiniti, the new X3 on the way, and a couple of others as well, but in the end...I had to go with my childhood dream..I had to have that coveted Silver Star on my steering wheel!
2 things that are REALLY annoying me about it though are 1. Fuel economy (it just DOWNS liters and liters of gas)!!!!! & 2. it doesn't support my iPhone 3G in terms of charging. Other than that, can't complain...

Yes fuel economy is pretty bad for a V6. I mean in town it's ok, but 21 highway is pretty bad. I think the tank size is what bothers me the most. Dollarwise there is not much difference, I used to put 9 gallons in my matrix (econ car) of regular at 2 a gallon, now it's 16 gallons at 2.2 a gallon, $18 vs. $35.

In terms of the discount situation, I got a call from the manager of the dealer yesterday saying MB Canada had already denied my request for the discount. He gave me the customer service # & insisted that I call them (because he said he really has a problem with Benz' marketing strategy of bringing ppl in with a fake coupon too...well...not literally fake, but the fact that it says it must be "in stock" makes it worthless).
So I will be voicing my displeasure to them in the next couple of days, and will post updates as they happen!

In Canada do you get your deposit back from cancelling a order? Not suggesting this, but I could see some US side dealers letting customers to order and cancel to get an "in-stock" car discount from MB

I must admit, very sneaky MBGLK50! IN discussions with my local dealer in the GTA, he said the deposit is fully refundable, only issue is the car would not arrive until July/August, so I would effectively miss the boat as the offer expires June 30.

I have an escalation with MB Canada about the offer being on "in-stock" models only. I think this is complete BS and should be on in-stock OR factory orders...

Here is the response from the escalation manager at MB Canada to my local dealer:

"...Due to the success of GLK sales, we won't be able to extend this offer to
factory order stock. Also the expiration date applies to sales date (before
Sales Agreement finalization), not delivery date. Since he really is not
qualified from various aspects, unfortunately, I won't be able to honour
this offer. Hope you could understand. Is there anything you could do for
him in terms of discounts?..."

Basically, the options I want do not exist anywhere and it must be a factory order. I actually kind of find it funny that they are asking my dealer whether there is anything they can do for me? LOL...I mean come on, where the heck is the customer service. So what if the vehicle is doing well, you would think they would do the right thing a DO SOMETHING at least, especially considering I am potentially a first time Benz owner...
