Unhappy Chrome on Cup Holders is Chipping already!

Now this I really cant believe, the Chrome around my cup holders is chipping away. Yup that's right, Chipping! Truck is what, 6 weeks old! Problem is, I've only used them like twice, and not with glass. paper cups, etc. It's flaking off very easy too, bizarre since there hardly used, and so new. I've had god knows how new cars, and never saw anything like this before, makes me question the quality of the parts used to build a Mercedes these days. Hope it can be replaced easily.

Wow sorry to hear that. Maybe this is a defect and can be replaced under warranty.

Going down to Mercedes on Monday! Trust me, this is getting fixed under the warranty from Benz or,the dealer! Already made that clear when I called then earlier today. Just A headache to go down there and what not!

I want to know how it goes too. Also, any suggestions on how to prevent it from chipping away?
