Here in BC, I've seen a grand total of 10 (approx) since the GLK debuted in Jan of this year. But I can't say I consider that a bad thing...unique = good!

GLK 350
Lately I am beginning to see more and more in the GTA. This month I've seen 6 already, which was is extremely unusual. I would say since Jan-June I would have seen 20 total. I saw couple of them the other day with the dark red, really liked it, forget what it is called.

GLK
Yeah, there are too many in Vancouver. I see at least a couple every Time I drive. And I see 3 - 4 every time I am in Richmond. I think the GLK will be as popular as the C class. It's good that I got it so early.

In Ottawa,

GLK isn't still popular.
From the time I picked mine up, I have only seen 4~5 GLKs on the road.

I initially had a white C300 with 17's on order. I cancelled because there were faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too many out on the road. No more exclusivity!!

Picked up the white GLK instead. I had only seen 5 or 6 before grabbing mine, but it seems to have picked up since then. Unfortunately I see more and more, particularly in white. I'm in the West Island of Montreal... it seems like more of a suburban vehicle anyways.

On a side note, I was recently in Germany. When I was in Munich I was shocked at the number of Audis, BMWs, and MBs on the street. Of course I know it's German, but I was surprised at how many people could afford the lux vehicles. So many more engine options down there though. Far fewer 600, 500, 550, or 350 engines.

I did see a GLK320CDI. So jealous!!! I even saw an E200... I wonder how underpowered that thing must be!

The German population is pretty affluent, especially in the state of Bavaria (where München is located). It's the richest German state.

German love affair with fast, well-handling cars probably exceeds what exists in North America. Especially since they can (legally) drive them at their speed potential. Time and time again the auto safety organizations and insurance companies have sponsored proposals to limit the autobahn speeds to 130 km/hour (80 mph) but they are consistently rejected by the politicians who know it would be political suicide. The compromise is that most German states recommend 130 max but it's not mandatory unless posted for other reasons.

BTW, as I write this, mid-grade gas (same as US premium) costs $7.22/gal. So when you're blasting down the autobahn at 200 km/hour (124 mph), it's getting right into your pocket.

There are four GLKs in our neighbourhood in Oakville and we live north of the QEW! I imagine there are many more down by the lake.

I live in the burbs of Toronto, so my commute is about 25+km each way. I have recently started to notice a few GLKs on the road. When I do see one I look for the tell tale signs of what they got (me bad). Most of the GLKs I have seen don't have the BiXenon Lighting system, they are easy to spot with the yellow rear turn signals. Not too many have the 20" wheels either. Love being unique I have to say..

I agree with you Leslie. I live in Markham and work at Richmond Hill, I saw at least one GLK every other day. They are either black or white without BiXenon, but they do have 20" wheels. I noticed there is a GLK in my neighborhood when I pickup my mail last night. It is a black one with sport package. For sure GLK is getting more popular.

I agree, since delivery I have taken more notice, and see them more often. In my area, there are 3 in a span of 3 blocks. oh well, all I can say is congrats everyone who have purchased the GLK.

Ottawa

I have only seen two GLKs in Ottawa. A grey one and white one. The white GLK was being driven on a demo run from the dealer...I had some fun and came right up behind on the on ramp to the 417 and stuck behind until I could get past. My GLK is black and the demo was white...I left them in the dust at 150 km/h...ok then I slowed down 110 km/h no tickets please.

Here in Vancouver I've seen about 6 or 7, mostly white and black, one brown. Haven't seen a green, blue or red yet.

I guess everyone in Canada has the AWD and cargo cover but no hill assist (no offroad package) and no interior ambient lighting with the leather package?

Same deal here. We were in Canada Aug 7 thro Aug 15. Drove all the way from Quebec to Toronto with stops in Ottawa, Montreal, Kingston,Totonto and Niagara Falls. But I did see just ONE white GLK by the Montreal Olympic Park. But where ever I stopped at any rest area, people stopped by to take look at my GLK. My daughter was like there you go again...!!
