GLK vs. Q5
I like styling of both but feel GLK stands out more since it is not the "jelly bean" style that the Q5, RX, etc... all CUVs seem to look like. MPG is better on the Q5 2.0T but not that much that it will make a huge difference. I love the 20" wheels on the GLK and 20"s are not an option on the 2.0T (only 19"s).
I have never owned an Audi but heard the driving experience is nice. Audi dealer is not willing to negotiate much since 2011 2.0T just came out.
I have a 2009 C300 Sport and have yet to test drive the GLK or Q5.
Thoughts...?
I'd pick new MB over audi just for realibility alone, though it's too early to tell.
I also prefer looks of GLK, Q5 looks like a mix of Q7 and A3, neither one are great looking to me.
I also test drove new A4, and wasn't impressed with 2.0T engine or the interior. I think 2.0T in Q5 would be overworked.
ALso GLKs go for invoice and can be better optioned. Audi has package system (all or nothing)
Artic White - Almond\Black

Appearance Package
Heated seats

Did you lease or buy?
Didn't shop for Q5 since it was too expensive with few options added on. Plus Benz is better than Audi (at least it's suppose to be)

I bought, lease for the car I wanted would have been 700 a month (50k MSRP). I got mine for 44k + 3k sales tax, put 10k down, rolled tire/wheel insurance (1k) into my loan, and paying 625 per month for 66 month (2% APR).
lease makes no sense with cars being sold at invoice with super low financing unless you really don't want to keep it for more than 3 years.
