Two questions. Serious & Less Serious.
1. Maybe this is more the fault of the pumps, but both my wife and I filled up at our local supermarket in the last week. Both times, with the pump nozzle fullly open, when the pump shut off we had about a half cup (maybe more) of gas squirt out of the filler tube and run down the fender. Has anyone else experienced this? Do we need to slow down the flow as the tank gets close to full? We have been using these pumps with two other cars since they opened about 10 years ago. This has never happened until we filled the GLK.
2. Will the navigation system display turn by turn text instructions for the route? The volvo system does this. Just wondering if M-B has the same feature. I haven't seen a menu item for this. How about reverse trip directions?

I've never had a fueling problem with my GLK - I suspect there's something wrong with their gas nozzles. Can't answer your question on the Nav - I outfitted my GLK with a Garmin.

That's funny. We had a bit of an issue with filling our before too. Except it was that the pump would shut off all the time as if it were full. This despite the fact that it was no where near full. We ended up having to tilt the pump handle like 30 degrees on pumps where this happens. No rhyme or reason. Never had the fuel come back out though.

I think the problem is with the gas pump.
I had this problem too but only at 1 particular pump station.
About the nav, the answer is NO and NO, at least for me ( could be me didn't figure it out yet). I don't use the NAV that much anyway.

I did experienced the same like Wayne, but I thought it was just the gas station, however, I did the same on two fill ups. It could be the flow from the nozzle. But I have no problem with the same gas station doing it on my BMW.

Never had any such problems, but I once read that gas pumps meter less accurately at maximum pressure so I always ease up on the nozzle when filling up.

If the pump nozzle has a vapor cup, it will happen... but if it continues, try other stations... if it still continues then it's the breather on the GLK which would then need to be serviced.
