With most smartphones these days, you do the actual transfer on the phone. I use Blackberry 9810 Torch's and how I did it was:
. First Paired Bluetooth in GLK with BB 9810 (which you have done with your phone)
. Selected "MB Bluetooth" from my Bluetooth device options on phone
. Clicked on "Transfer contacts"
And bingo, it did it. On your phone the terminology may be different ie: contacts vs address book, but the result will be the same. Just play with it a little bit and it will work. Good Luck!

I have never done it but it can be done. I'll check in to it and get back to you. I use a memory card instead and it works great and seems like less work and more control or music.

You use the PCMCIA adapter with SD card for music ? Did you buy the adapter from MB or some other brand ?

Yes-I use the PCMCIA adapter-Scan disk 6 in 1 SDHD adapter. Bought it on line for $25 and 2GB card but can use bigger card if I wanted. Muchj cheaper than MB sells it for. Also have Sirius sat radio so I hardly ever use it.

Search the forum. Some folks have had problems moving their MP3 files to the HD. Blamed on copyright issues put in by M-B.

Not to detract from your intent CMB4ME but I have the 6gb HD also & my reasons for not using it @ all are:
1) Not easy to transfer music - can only use PCMCIA card or worse CD's
2) How can I update my music if #1 is not easy?
3) iPod in the glovebox does #1 & #2 much easier
I ended up just pulling out an old 4GB Nano & plopping it into my GLK.
Walla - all my music now portable & storable.
btw - A second hand prior gen 8GB iPod Nano can be had for ~$30-$40 which is still less than the Sandisk 6-1 adapter & a memory card.

I have used an iPod nano before in my 09' E350 but don't use apple products at all and now that I've started moving music to the memory card its just easier. I have all my music on my Torch as well and if wanted, could play from iy, buyt card is easier and bettqu"ity sound than the iPod. BTW Wayne, you can buy a cable for BB to hook up Torch to MP3 player cable in your GLK-check www.crackberry.com.

Same reasons you use a flash card.
In the end, it doesn't save me or you any time to unplug one or the other & stick it into our PC's to have music loaded, reloaded, or deleted.
What I was specifically referencing was loading the music into the GLK's hard drive. I really see no need esp. when you can save a step & add flexibility via a plug in music player.
As for plugging in your BB to play music - most people like their mobile handset nearby not in the glove compartment i would think.

Just saying. Which I'm not allowed to say since the phrase was banned previously by the Speech Police.

For the record you cannot transfer music from any other form factor other than a CD to the HDD in the vehilce. I have moved music to the HDD but it is tedious if you want to put different music in different folders and creating albums inside those folders. I think a simple USB thumb drive is a great solution if you have that option.
I also have Sirius and most time never bother with the HDD.
