Back on topic: not sure if the GLK will ever get the full AMG in house tuning including engine & other performance add-ons.

Currently, the AMG treatment for the GLK is strictly cosmetics.

But that GL63 is a beaut no doubt!

The GLK is an entry SUV for Benz, and a 6.3 variant would place it in a very limited sales bracket. That's why they left this variant up to third party tuners like Brabus etc.

The GL was in the same spot being a super niche market that would want an amg version full sized suv.... Also, BMW is reportedly making a m version x3... The GLK 63 should certainly be in discussion

In regards to the 2007 s550...
Has anyone tried to stream music through a bluetooth pcmcia card wirelessly? If so, that would be a great... Since the pcmcia slot is integrated into the command system, it would be a work around for not having an aux or ipod connection. You could simply pair the iphone/smartphone/ipod, etc. with the device and stream music through the car's system. Please discuss your thoughts...

I'll tell you what, if Mercedes Corporate introduces a full blown 6.0-6.3L V12 (V8) AMG GLK for the US market, I'll buy you one. That's how confident I am that they probably won't.



This Brabus version costs nearly $500,000.00... look it up. http://www.topcarrating.com/2010-brabus-glk-v12.php So even if MB could bring this car to the US market for under $155,000.00, (which is highly improbable) it wouldn't sell enough to make it profitable. Therefore it makes better sense that if they did make an attempt to bring a 6.3 AMG GLK to market, they would most likely target the car in low volume specialty sure-bet places like Dubai etc....

Actually, there's nothing "pompous" here. The fact is, Brabus' unique 6.0L V12 GLK has been around for over three years now and discussed on this forum in-nauseaum. This information could have been easily had with a simple google search, even here. (Which is a sticky thread) Personally, members should use the "search" feature first. By the way, that's not a "green smily face".

The 2012 C-63 AMG Black Series is on Top Gear right now. It is Canary Yellow. And it can't keep up with a similarly priced Maserati.

The Stig. He managed a lap in the C 63 BS in 1:21 flat. Faster than the Ferrari 599. It's still Caution Sign Yellow. The much more refined Maserati was a tick slower.
