Good day, we have ordered our 2014 glk (delivery oct) we ordered the amg kit on the glk 250, the build sheet says alum trim h79 we ordered the dark ash (736), the dealer has said you cannot get the wood with an amg kit in 2014 has anyone else heard this?

You're right! I just went on to MB Canada's website and tried to build your GLK.... won't allow anything but the aluminum.. Stupidly, it will allow the dark ash with the gas engine! Now the website is building a 2013 so who knows!

I tried it myself and it will only allow the textured aluminum not even what my build sheet specifies... How strange...

I just tried building it as a glk 350 and no problem, this is strange other than choice of engine there should be no difference (you would think)

Its a glitch on the website, I found the same thing but when you go to place an order at the dealer, you can still order the dark ask....I had ordered it on my 2014 BlueTec before I changed my order to a 2014 CLA 45 AMG

We did order from the dealer and all the boxes were checked , but when the order sheet came back it was changed from the black ash to Aluminum...

Just going through the same issue now with my almost purchased GLK 250... I really wanted to the AMG package but was told no to the Black Ash... I was going to move forward with a 2014 250 no AMG when I got a great deal on the 2013 Demo about 8K off.

Doing the deal as we speak.

Several months ago special ordered 2013 GLK350 w/ 739 aluminum trim. Paint is Iridium silver. Great combo! Trim is not flat aluminum. More like a very textured carbon fiber style. Had to pay $250 special order charge but it was worth it. Looks great with silver body. Not sure how well it would look with some of the other colors. Much prefer it to walnut in our case.

Took a couple of phone calls to Mercedes Canada and the trim is now what we ordered, their system even showed the errors we were getting...Now our build sheet shows exactly what we ordered, now to wait till October...

we pick our 2013 GLK 250 on Wednesday. We have the AMG pkg with the dark ash wood trim and the mocha leather interior. Didn't have any issues with the order at all.

I too noticed the issue on the build portion of the website. I'm sure one day they'll get it worked out.

We pick ours up tomorrow AM, can't wait... perfect 5yr wedding anniversary present for the wife and I.

Polar white/Black Interior with every option except AMG... which sucks but this was all that was available and I had to get out of my other SUV quickly...

Also had the dealer tint the front windows to match as close as possible and added the factory running boards. Just need to find a set of 20's now.

We bought ours as a combo between our 5th anniversary as well as my wife's recent promotion. Her goal was to attain this new role by the age of 40...she did it 6 years early . Now I get to reap the rewards

We also went with polar white but decided on the dark mocha leather. I wasn't sold on it when we (she) ordered it (or the $1900ish price tag ) but now that we have the vehicle, I wouldn't have wanted any other choice. It's that amazing and I am notoriously hard to please...

I'm considering the mocha leather. I have yet to see any GLKs in my area with leather of any color, though, let alone the mocha. So, question. Is the brown top of the dash the same as what you'd get with the almond MB-TEX?

Also, how good/awful would the mocha interior look with a black exterior? The interior already mixes black and brown so I'm thinking that it would be okay but then I think, "But what if it's awful?"
