2014 GLK250

New GLK250 and Extended Warranty Deal

Here is a picture of our new GLK250. First time diesel owners. Love the powertrain and fuel economy. Test drove the 250 and 350 back to back at same dealer. Maybe it was the combination of diesel and 4matic, but we were sold on the diesel. Drove it in dry and wet conditions and it just felt so solid and smooth.

At purchase we were offered a price on an MB extended warranty. Decided to research first and found a referral to Mark Eggleton at MB of Georgetown (address below). He and his colleagues were easy to work with and pricing was far better than local dealer. Great option here if you are shopping for a new car MB extended warranty.

I am shopping for an extended warranty for my 2014 GLK250BT (took delivery on 2/11/14). I am trying to send an email to the email address in your post, however there seems to be some discrepancy:
The name you mentioned is: Mark Eggleton
email address: meggleston@mb etc.
Is the name in the email address correct?

E-mail address is correct. Or you can call him at the dealership.

Texas is quite a ways from Maryland.
So, did you take out the extended warranty with Mark, at his Dealership in TX?

Sorry about the confusion. Got multiple bids on the warranty and actually went with the dealer in Bethesda. MD...they had best price. I was not concerned about the distance as any authorized dealer can write the extended warranty.

Good luck and let's hope these warranties see only limited use!

Thanks for the info. I guess you don't want to exchange the quotes/prices you got for the extended warranty, I am looking to get the 3 years 100Kmiles
extension. So far, Mark had the best price (MSRP $3,899), way below $3K, that's what my Dealer wanted, exactly $3K.

I was quoted a deal at Euro Motorcars $1,000 less than offered at my local dealer. A great savings for a simple phone call. Good luck with your transaction.
